After weeks of no rain few days ago we had two days of rain. I was loving it very much I could tell my flowers and vegetables including my birds are so loving it. In between when the rain slows down I sneak out and took photos. Here is what I've got.

Yellow Roses

               My favorite color is yellow and when hubby and I went to a Rose Show I can't get enough taking lots of photos with yellow roses. They came in different sizes and shades which made me very excited as I went from one rose to another.

Miss it!

Last May I had a good time with my family back in the Philippines. I missed the bonding time with my nieces, nephew, SIL and brother. One place that we visited is this beach resort (forgot the name). We were all excited to be in the island but all our excitement came to a halt. The owner told us that they are not going to transfer any visitors to the island because there is a storm coming. But did not see the sky a dark clouds what so ever but the wind is very strong. And yes it was also in the news that a storm is coming so off we went home! ^_^

                                         It's episode 17, year 1! How time flies we are at the last week of the month of July. Are you all ready for Fall? Me I still want to spend a little bit of time in summer I like the warm weather though sometimes it feels too hot but I see to it I keep cool. Happy Color

     Now I do believe that yellow is a happy color. Every time I see my goldfinch I am happy. I am happy because they are still there still visiting my bird feeder. The other yellow which looks like an orchid or a lily is one of the flower that intrigues me. I saw these flower when I was in the flower shop and I like it immediately. I hope when I go to the store tomorrow this flower is on sale because I am going to buy this one. I also found out that I have more yellow flowers in my garden more than the other colors. Which when I  check my flowers every morning it brings smile on my face.

No Clouds just Blue sky

Today we were fortunate we had rain. It rain the whole morning and when it stops I check on my flowers and vegetables I feel they are excited and happy. But my photos are from my strawberry picking and Lavender Festival.

We had to ride this train to go where the lavender, red and black raspberry is located. This is also the farm were we go for apple picking.

I was watching tv when a a warning sign flash on tv. It says "extreme heat warning" I told hubby it is time for him to buy me an inflatable swimming pool and for the first time his answer ....maybe! What the heck? What is going on? LOL!! Took this photo last week....at the lake.

Target Coupon

     Today hubby and I went shopping. I found out yesterday while doing my laundry that hubby does not have any more good jeans. I told him to spare some blue jeans for going out and not to wear it while working in the barn or in the yard or cutting hays! Well he is sometimes stubborn he wore it he came home dirty that is when I discover he does not any good blue jeans. We love Target and it is the only store that he found his favorite brand. He had an odd waistline measurement and when he found that jeans at Target; he knew right away it is his kind of store. He was surprise when I pick five jeans for him he says he need only two but I told him I have a Target coupon and he does not have to worry about it. The next-door store is an electronic store few months ago, I want to buy a laptop but could not figure out what brand. Yesterday, I had an Apple promo code and I am so happy because it saves me a lot of money for a good brand. 

     Sometimes, we have to wait for a right timing to find a good coupon, which I do it all the time. I do not jump right away I have to wait for a right timing. One thing that I am looking for now is Geek Toys my nephew ask me these stuffs when I was in the Philippines last May. I told him to wait for a while because I know I could buy it cheap and with a lot of discount. We are in the middle of the year and shopping for Christmas gifts is rolling already. I like to shop when not everything is in chaos so I could find the right stuff. Added to that, I could also get coupons or codes ahead of time and savings is fun.

I kind to like taking photos from below especially when a beautiful flowers like tulips or any flowers is my subject against a blue sky, white clouds, etc. and they are straight out of the camera.

Sailor Anime

     Growing up I saw my mother collecting figurines of course I was young at that time I do not have any idea why I wanted to play with it but my mother reprimanded us not to touch it. We just looked at those pretty figurines and wish we could play it. We have toys growing up but sometimes those things that our parents say no touch are the ones that we wanted to touch. 

     I was already working in the 90’s when I start collecting figurines. I did understand why my mother collects her figurines because she likes it. I often stares my collection and do not like somebody to touch it since I know right away if somebody touch it because it is not align. I still have my collection but do not buy anything for me instead; I buy for my nieces and nephew. What they are up to these days is animes. At first I did not know what it was until they showed me how it looks and what it is. They even have a name the same as to their favorite anime. One anime that they like is sailor moon and in fairness, I like it too. My nieces ask me to buy for them a sailor moon costume. I told them Halloween is a bit far but they insist I have to buy it now or I may not find a size for them. My nieces and nephew knows how to push me they think I always give them the opportunity to win all the time ha-ha. I look at the anime figures store and I find plenty of good stuff, which in honesty I like the stuff I see in the site. I know I am old in collecting this kind of stuff but I like it and I might give this to my nieces and nephew this coming Christmas as a present for them. It is nice to get a link cosplay costume because you know what is new in the store. Fortunately, I do not have any problem in what to buy for them this Halloween and Christmas I just did found out what I give to them and they will have a heck a lot of fun. 

Something Yellow

Many of my flowers are blooming beautifully this year. One thing that I notice some insects is eating the leaves and flowers. Do you have this problem too? Try to get a look...
                     
            I planted this lily last year and thankfully it bloom this year but look at the petals. The other one the petals is eaten slowly.

Lavender Farm

Hello friends how's your 4th of July celebration? Hubby and I went to a Lavender Farm here in Michigan. I didn't know that we have a Lavender farm very close to my place. When I found it out last Tuesday I know by the next day we have to visit it so off we go. Arrived around 11:00 am at the parking lot we smell the fresh air of lavender scent. It made me feel calm and ready to sleep wish I brought my hammock ^_^ The area is a rolling little hills. I see tons of bees and butterflies I didn't know they love lavender that much! 

This is the area where visitors have time to relax and chill out. They offer lavender cookies, tea, juice but I choose Lavender Lemon ice cream and it taste divine!!!

                    I bought 3 potted lavender plants hoping next year I may have lavender of my own.

The sky is blue and it was hot really great to visit a Lavender farm. By the way the name of the farm is Yule Love It Lavender . I love it there and definitely is going to visit it again for the fact it is only like 15 minutes away from us. ^_^
