To all my mommy friends I'd like to ask you questions because I just wonder if you would allow this to your daughter or son...
1. Do you allow your sons or daughters to go Summer camp?
Summer camp is a supervised program for children and/or teenagers conducted (usually) during the summer months in some countries. Children and adolescents who attend summer camp are known as camper. The traditional view of a summer camp as a woodsy place with hiking, canoeing, and campfires is evolving, with greater acceptance of newer summer camps that offer a wide variety of specialized activities. For example, there are camps for the performing arts, rock music, magic, computers, language learning, children with special needs, and weight loss. In fact, the American Camp Association reports that in 2006, 75 percent of camps added new programs. This is largely to counter a trend in decreasing enrollment in summer camps, brought about by smaller family sizes, the growth in supplemental educational programs and the popularity of electronic media, all of which have made keeping children inside and occupied much easier than in previous generations.
2. Do you allow your son or daughter to sleep over at friends house, classmates house or neighbors house? And if you don't allow her/him how are you going to explain to her/him that you don't agree on sleep over idea.

My take on this two questions:
1. It's only here in US that I found out that there is such thing as summer camp. Wala naman ito sa Pilipinas when I grew up. Summer when I was young is playing with my cousins, neighbors and siblings until parang kasing black na ako nang uling. Summer is when we make our Mom resttttttttt specially in getting up early in the morning, because we are the one who will do the household chores. That time wala pa namang mall sa city namin so saan kami mag-lalaro at mag hang out doon sa school playground my mama or papa will just call us in time for lunch. Though summer camps won't last the whole summer it only lasted at least 2 weeks and it cost more than $1,000 I guess to enroll for summer camp depending on the activities they offer. My take is 50% okey and 50% nope, because it depends kung may pera. On the other hand it is nice for them to meet and socialize other people but I will see to it that the place, the people are reliable and safe. In other words may kaba ako palagi specially they are young and they are out there expose to different people whom I don't know.
2. This is 100% NO WAY!! Lol does I sound paranoid or over protective? Well I am an aunt and have nieces and nephew whom I do care and love. Thinking that they are out there sleeping in anothers house whom I don't personally know the people inside makes me freak out!
