The Best Gift

I have a hard time driving at night. I only felt this for the past few months and I told hubby about it. Last month when the winter start I thought we have plenty of snow but fortunately we do not have. So I do a lot of driving here and there but at night it bothers I and I do not like the feeling. Two weeks ago hubby told me it is about time we need to see a doctor for our eye check up. I remember the last time we had our eye check up was five years ago and both our eye glasses are worn out. Mine broke and hubby has plenty of scratches he does not like driving at night too. But sometime we have to go out at night especially if there is a party with friend or family. But as I remember both our eyeglasses are so cheaply done and we paid so much for it. I told hubby I would not allow that to happen again. I was browsing the internet and happen to fine Zenni Optical. I am amazed of how beautiful there eyeglasses are. Aside from being beautiful the quality is superb and it is affordable. I immediately told hubby about it and he encourage me to look more and if I found one that I like I can order it for my Valentine present. That brings my face to smile this snowy Monday morning.

Yellow and Blue

It is very hard to take good photos in winter. First of all it's very cold outside I am concern of my camera something might happen to the lens. Second, it is cloudy you do not have a good light. But somehow nature has its way to amuse you. Like sometimes we have a good sunset or sunrise like in my photos.

Then, sometimes the sky is very blue that you like to just watch it change in seconds but you can not because it is very cold. Thankfully, I have camera that freezes the moment. And I also wonder why in winter where there is snow the color is blue. That makes the surrounding magical.

This was taken at Detroit. The sky looks blue green. Ain't that beautiful?

Valentine & Kabartas

Do any of you think about how and why a third party or a collection agency has to know your phone number or address?  Well I guess because there is an industry for these. I know of Valentine & Kabartas as a third party collection agency. Their goal is to help with an utmost care to their clients. Where can you find a third party collection agency that had this goal? I think that is why Valentine & Kabartas are still here doing there business. In addition, every business who deals customers who are hard to collect their dues has to look and go for Valentine &  Kabartas because it is worth the time.

Pet Care

If you have many pets in your household, what you do to lessen your expense? My advice is to find coupons and good deals. I found a site called  PetCareRx  that has many kinds of coupons and discounts for your pets. When I found this site, I immediately call my SIL because she has five cute dogs. They look like puppies but they are already old and they are still cute. This morning she called me thanking about PetCareRx site because she had a good deal using all the discounts and coupons. I am very glad that I was able to help her because she is very good to us. Besides, she likes to pamper her dogs and I am very sure that she bought many toys for them. Very lucky dogs!

Income At Home

I was at church the other day for a class and before my class begun, our leader talked to me about what she heard on the radio. She asked me if I know what is going on in the Philippines about what he heard on the radio. I asked her what is it all about and she told me it is about people there are starving for food. I was stunned and I do not know what to say because I never heard of the news but it is not impossible. In fact, few years ago, somebody died of hunger and even if I do not know the person, I felt I am guilty.
To be upfront with this issue I know and every body know that many try just to survive this days. One family who is paying mortgages and too much bills with kids in school and only one breadwinner is of course having a hardship these days. Not only families who are suffering hardships this days but everybody does. That is when people are willing to know how to make an Income at Home without getting out there and leaving the kids in some bodies care. I am a stay at home wife and I am glad I learn how to earn Income at home by searching on the internet because until now I am enjoying it.

I Love Rice

I am from the Philippines and one of our staple foods is rice. We eat rice almost five times a day. We eat rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between our snacks is made of glutinous or sticky rice. I love rice just by the smell of rice makes my spirit lift up.
My mother taught me how to cook rice in a young age. I remember we used charcoal to cook rice and viand. I became like a master rice cook because I will only tip my fingers to measure how much water the rice need. There are so many ways to wash the rice but my mother told me, it is only until when the water is clear that it is all right to cook. We also make porridge out of rice. I remember on weekends after an afternoon nap my mother cook porridge and we kids had to eat it before it gets cold. With my porridge, I love to mix it with milk and sugar while my mother is salt. When I came here in the US, the first time hubby bought me is a small rice cooker and a bag of rice. At first, he did not know to cook rice he taught it is very hard but I teach him anyway. Now, every morning I woke up with a rice aroma all over the house and that makes me happy. It is kind of our bonding in the morning because we joke about rice and we laugh about stories that I told him when I was young. What is funny is that with his rice he mixes it with cinnamon and butter or sugar while I go with bacon, fried egg or ham with my rice. I told him that breakfast with rice should be with bacon, fried egg or dried fish but he will not take the idea Hahaha.
I only know at least two ways of cooking rice. I did not know that there are many Rice Recipes. I know some Spanish rice food but I never try to cook it. Today, I was browsing the internet and found the Rice Recipes  website. I was very happy because I can cook it so hubby will eat rice too. He can cook rice but he is not eating rice that much. Now that a Rice recipe is available and ready, online I am excited to try one tomorrow.

The Bridge

Hubby and I went to the thumb part of Michigan few weeks ago. I see many short bridges. In order for the people to go in and out from their property they have to put short bridge. What makes it cool is that homeowners has a way of decorating or styling their bridge. ^_^

Bob Beck Sales Expert

Do you find hard to sale something? Moreover, do you know some people who could not sale any stuff anywhere and any time? My Dad is a very good sales representative as well as my sister. My brother and me are shy to sale anything. In this generation, already a sales guru like Bob Beck Sales Expert is willing to train people. For me it is a great investment to take this kind of training. As many people know, Bob Beck Sales Expert is the person who could do the magic on you. For the fact that he has given a title expert that means, he is good in training people like me who are shy. I learn too that to have a sales training is an addition to a skill that many do not have. That I think for me I would try to invest in this training because it will boost my self-confidence as well as my self-esteem.

Signtronix

One of the first things that I notice when I travel all over the country is the sign along the road. Some are huge and fancy, some are simple and some are colorful and with lights. Before I know the name of Signtronix, I ask myself where these companies buy this huge signs or signage. I am impressed that they could make very good graphics some has even lights on them. This morning I was browsing in the internet and happen to read the word Signtronix I get curious.  I read the article and thankfully, I had my questions answered. Signtronix is the nation’s manufacturer of business signage for independent business owners. Now I know to who and where to find a great signage just in case one of my friends would someday use signage for their business.

Take A Walk

Hubby and I love to go places on weekend.  Even if it is already cold, he accompanied me when I asked him to come with me. One time we were in Port Huron and while walking along the walk board facing Canada I saw these Pet Waste Stations in several places. Then not too far from the pet waste stations are Aluminum Bleachers and Portable Bleachers then you can see Dog Exercise Equipment too. I told hubby what a cool way to bring the dogs here because dogs will enjoy in those equipment. Even if it was too cold I saw people walking by and some are seating talking to each other, some are fishing, while I was busy taking photos. I was observing all the people walking by and some we talked and a thought come to me. It does not take a man to find happiness. I see people seating there in the park happy just by looking at the water and talking with family and friends. I told hubby that if winter will be done and gone we are going back to that park because I love it there.

Art

What kind of ART you like most?

Sculpture is an important form of public art. A collection of sculpture in a garden setting may be referred to as a sculpture garden. source:wikipedia

The Art of Painting, also known as The Allegory of Painting, and or Painter in his Studio, is a famous 17th century oil on canvas painting by Dutch painter, Johannes Vermeer. Many art historians believe that it is an allegory of painting, hence the alternative title of the painting. It is the largest and most complex of all of Vermeer's works.[1] source:wikipedia

Engage with your readers through threaded commenting

You may have noticed that we’ve rolled out a number of improvements to Blogger recently. The folks over atTechnorati referred to it as a “rampage”. Call it what you like, we’re definitely having fun giving Blogger the makeover it’s long deserved, and we appreciate all the positive feedback we received at the recent BlogWorld expo.

If you follow us on our Buzz blog, you’re aware that we publish surveys from time to time. A top request on the wishlist is improving Blogger’s commenting system, so we’re happy to announce that we’ve done just that.

Blogger now supports threaded commenting, which means that it is now much easier to differentiate between whether someone is making a general comment on the thread, or responding to another comment on the thread.

What do you have to do to enable this on your blog? Nothing! If you have Blogger’s commenting feature enabled, “Blog Feed” set to “Full”, and are using “Embedded” comments, then you’re ready to start a discussion with your readers.
