Hair Is My Crowning Glory

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TRESemmé for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you know that a woman’s hair is her crowning glory? Just like our eyes, is the window of our soul? I am the kind of person who does not go to a hair salon for regular trimmings or haircuts. I often neglected my hair but not with my skin. I bought plenty of stuff for my skin but not for my hair. Until one time, I was taking photos and hubby was taking pictures at me. When I looked at the photos, I am very shocked because my hair looks like corn hair or silk, there is no life at all! It was then that I realized I have to take care of my hair. I looked around for good hair products but most of them I have tried but my hair are still the same. That is when I heard about TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. My friend introduced it to me but I am not the kind of person who jumps into the wagon I did call my stepdaughter who works at a hair salon and she told me that Dry Shampoo is the new trend of this generation.  She added to say that Top Hair Products for School  is introducing it too and you can see it in their video.
How to get the best results from Dry Shampoos:
- Do shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts for best results.
- Do lift sections of dry hair and spray lightly at roots
- Don’t spray it like hair spray (all over and continuously)
- Do leave in for 1-2 minutes
- Do use fingertips or a brush to distribute product evenly
- If clogging occurs, remove nozzle and rinse the nozzle under warm water, then reattach.
In addition, the full line of products includes:
> Strengthening Dry Shampoo: The formula, with B12 vitamins and keratin, helps strengthen hair and leaves it full of healthy body.
> Volumizing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with mineral clay and citrus, removes oil while injecting hair with salon-gorgeous volume.
> Smoothing Dry Shampoo: The formula, with Vitamin H & Silk Proteins, refreshes your straight style by removing excess oil, impurities and odor t o ensure your smooth look lasts.
> Moisturizing Waterless Foam Shampoo: The formula, with Witch Hazel, Citrus, and Aloe Vera, refreshes your hair by removing excess oil impurities and odor while moisturizing hair.
Time to change our way of caring our hair girls. Try TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo you gonna love it!

Sky Watch Friday

By reading the scriptures I am so renewed that all nature seems renewed around me and with me. The sky seems to be a pure, a cooler blue, the trees a deeper green. The whole world is charged with the glory of Go and I feel fire and music under my feet. Thomas Merton

Way Too Good

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of T.G.I. FRiDAY'S for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

After I learned T.G.I. Friday’s has a new frozen product I went to the grocery store immediately. There inside the frozen aisle I saw T.G.I. FRiDAY’S “Entrées for One”  waving at me.  I couldn’t believed my eyes the display are almost gone but very thankful my favorite Creamy Chicken Pasta Carbonara and hubby’s Sesame Orange Chicken are still there but not many left. I grabbed two each and hurriedly went home. I was excited for hubby to come because I knew he love the dinner I am preparing for him. When he arrived, I told him his dinner is ready and he was surprised it takes me few minutes to prepare because I told him I am making him a sesame orange chicken. I tell you guys and gals he loves it! And if the husband is happy the wife is happy too.

I shared to my friends the other day that T.G.I. FRIDAY has launched these array of dishes that would  flip your husband and your kids because these entrees are just delicious! But what can you expect it is from T.G.I. Fridays, right? Anyway, to make the news more fun in face book they have a Fun Freezer contest! Yes, a contest that anyone of us can join as long as you have a face book account but who do not have a face book now, even kids do have one, lol! Just visit this website http://www.facebook.com/TGIFridaysFreezer and from there you can enter the contest. Who knows you will be the lucky winner I would be happy to congratulate you first ^_^

When I saw these flowers it made me laugh and I had to look closer too. From a far this flowers looks like they are flashing a finger at you hahaha. I can't figure out how and why only one puff of flower grew tall and the rest only create a ball. Well nature has it's way of doing it I guess, lol!!

Can't Beat Straight Talk

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have realized that if we know how to look for ways and means to minimize our high budget expense we can do it and we can find it. Just like my husbands cell phone he is in this cell phone provider for years and his with a plan right now with limited minutes a month but every time I read our phone bill, I am always shocked because I pay more than what our plan tells.  The other day we agreed that we are going to pay for the early termination pay since his cell phone has 2-year contract, which in the beginning I do not like it. We decided to get Straight Talk for good. His daughter is the one who discover it, since then she loves it, why cannot we. I have so many things plan if we have the extra money of course I will save it for our winter vacation and then buy a new gadget in town.
Last night, my stepdaughter showed as the video Hook, line and sinker and hubby watched it intently. Just by watching the video online, all his questions are answered. Like if we can Call a friend, or if Everything you need, is in this cell phone. I like that Android on Straight Talk is available which for more months I am thinking of buying in another cell phone provider but I can’t because there is no extra money to buy for it. The other big deal that hubby found out too are these.

Monthly Plans:
> The “All You Need Plant” meets even the needs of heavy phone users with 1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts and 30 MB of web data.
> Unlimited Monthly service is only $45, and included calls, text, picture messaging, and web.
> Imagine unlimited calls, text, picture messaging and web for a whole year, for only $499.00!
> 411 calls are included at no extra charge.
> Free from activation, reactivation, or termination fees

Phone Selection:
> Reconditioned phones are available from $10.00 with camera, mp3 player, mobile web access, and blue-tooth capability. Great for young users!
> Amazing smart phones; touch screen phones, and app capable phones with features like voice navigation, camera, video recorder, music player, instant messaging, and Bluetooth®

International Long Distance:
> Straight Talk International Long Distance Service is a flexible prepaid service that enables you to make international calls from your home, cell or office phone at low rates.

Now he is certain that he is going to change phone service and I am happy about it. Here is what I like to share too.

Brain Training

Each one of us has its skills and talents. One does excel in physical activity, some excel in arts or music, and some do excel in math and others. However, as the person age sometimes we just do not realize that our mental and physical capabilities also decline and often we do not do anything about it. I observe some old people they would rather sit on the couch and do nothing more so it will decline their physical attributes and many just stop what they were doing when they were younger like sewing, scrap booking or even reading. For me it should not be like that. The more we aged the more we are upbeat because we have more wisdom and knowledge than the young ones.
This morning I was looking at the rain and I was thinking of what to do on rainy days and winter season. I ca not just do nothing in those months I have to do something right?  A brain training is what I need these months to come so I would not feel depress without nothing to do.  Thankfully, as I was browsing the internet I found this website Cognifit Brain Fitness program. This program is scientifically validated software to assess and train cognitive skills such as memory, attention and perception.  One thing that I like in this website it is online bases; it is free and very cool!

Padre Pio

After I read a book about Padre Pio's life  I came to love him. He is a priest and his enormous love to do service to the people to celebrate mass and confession moved me. I read the book 1993 that time he was not a saint.  Now in his memorial I like to share a you tube video music here to remember a man who put God first in his life.

Peachy Sunset

One peachy sunset.
This particular night the sky is in revelry. I only took about five shots and the rest of the time I spent it
watching how the color changed as the minutes passed by.

Every sunset brings the promise of a new dawn.

My Papa's death anniversary

Twenty two years ago my beloved Papa passed away. We were all at the hospital that day and he is in coma my mother is beside him and he has this one last breath and he was gone. It was a shocked it's my  first time I experienced witnessing death and it's my father. We were very sad I am very concern of my mother that time what she gonna do how she is going to cope up since I was working at that time and live in another city as well as my brother. She did cope up she grieve the loss of her husband and we grieve the loss of our father. Pain in losing somebody you love won't go away time won't heal either, yes I grieve I cried from time to time but that's how it is, life is a journey, we are a pilgrimage in this world and that we have our own time to face death too.
I missed him so much he died at the age of 50 years old and that's very young. We haven't bonded that much since he is a working man. I missed for the fact that along the years when he was gone my life came to a different change we haven't expected. My siblings are the same and he never came to see his four beautiful grandchildren. Today. I offer a prayer for my Papa's soul that he rest in peace!

Believe It Or Not

These are some of the signs that we found at Believe it or Not museum in Niagara Falls. I had so much fun reading these unbelievable signs.

What you think of this two headed piglet.
I think this is true ^_^

Jagged Journey

                                                              JAGGED edge

                                                                        JOURNEY concert
I am very proud that the lead vocalist of Journey is a Filipino (Arnel Pineda). While watching him sing on stage I only wonder where he gets his stamina and power, he sings 13 songs and for about 3 or 4 songs he only take a 5 minutes break. An he is a very tiny guy he even had a platform so he could reach the microphone hehe.

Have a happy Tuesday everyone. Celebrate life!

iPad 2

There are several reasons why I like iPad. First, I can carry it everywhere I go. It is very sleek and it is handy. The seven inches iPad I can put it inside my purse and I think the 10 inches iPad I can put it in my bigger purse. Second, it is the newest trend in town. I saw two of my friends are using iPad and where ever we go they brought it with them. Unlike laptop, iPad is the easy to use easy to go gadget now a days. However, the most important reason why I like Ipad because you can use it with our without a keyboard and how cool is that. Even my friends who are using iPad do not have iPad 2 keyboard case nor iPad2 wireless keyboard. They do not even think a keyboard case or wireless keyboard exist because they never mention it to us. For sure, when I am going to tell them the news they are going to flip and for sure, they will nag their husbands to buy it for them.
For quite sometime now I am nagging my husband to buy an iPad for me. I’ve been thinking of waiting for the new iPad2 and now that I knew an iPad 2 leather case is also available as well as an iPad2 wireless keyboard I am more determine to get an iPad. It takes me too long to convince my hubby because he thinks that iPad is just like a toy. However, I told him that I could do my blogging anywhere without bringing my heavy laptop with me. In addition, I show him how an iPad works at the same time the iPad2 wireless keyboard can help me in typing fast in case I am writing for my blog. Now that he agrees on buying an iPad for me, I am excited to hold and use it and my smile is from ear to ear.

Blue Eyeball

One of the many attractions at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park is the Children's Garden and I think of my favorite. It's because they have five senses put in one place. Last week, I posted the SENSE of SMELL  in which at the garden they put a huge NOSE
Now I am posting the SENSE of SIGHT (Seeing) in which we are using our EYES.
The cool part in this huge eyeball is that you turn a knob located on the side part then in the middle of that eyeball a film comes out and you can see beautiful flowers. It's cool right?

I took this shot outside the gift shop and my camera almost didn't function when I saw the price $4,300 ++
Yes it's a whooping four thousand even my camera was shocked lol!!
What the heck is this? I asked my hubby. He thought it might be a shell with a pearl or glass but I can't figure it out why it's too expensive. Next time we'll go back to Frederik next week I am going to take a picture of the price and oh the orange one too because it's more expensive than this one. Do you like to display this beautiful art piece in your house? Not me first I don't have the money to buy this. Second, this will just collect dust for sure. ^_^
