Feeling better...... Facebook.....Personality test.

Feeling better now the medicine that I took helps me a lot it is an anti-allergy med. Though sometimes at night I had a bout of cough but at least it is not as hard as what happened last week. Hubby told me that it was too hot in MI and so here in PI. What goes in my town, it is too hot in the morning and midday but at the end of the day it started to cool off and rain, I guess that's what makes people catch cold so easily the sudden change of temperature. Anyway, thanks God my youngest niece was out of her fever. She had a fever yesterday and last night I was not able to sleep that good so this morning me and my niece took a long morning nap it was refreshing.
>>>On the lighter note I am now certified addict of Facebook. They have plenty of games that I found out nice and entertaining besides meeting old friends, classmates and new friends.

I am not feeling good...

Don't panic it is not about the H1N1 virus. I thought that these 5th time that I come to visit Philippines I can get rid or passed my one month vacation without a bout of cough and running nose but I have. I was already happy that I didn't have a cough for a week after I arrived here in Ozamiz but last Thursday I just noticed that my throat tickled and seems like I had to cough. I don't know why everytime I came to visit in Pinas I have this dry cough and when I get home to MI the next day my cough is gone as simple as that. It is so frustrating when I go meet friends ubo ako nang ubo nakakahiya talaga kaya palagi lang akong nasa bahay @#$arghh!! To add it I am still battling with jet lag and with this cough I don't have enough sleep buti nalang I don't have headache or any kind of ache but just the cough. I am taking medicine for anti-allergy my doctor friend told me I am allergic in dust nako po sosyal na to, to the max ever!! Pero kahit sosyal pa tong allergic2x na ito I still don't want it I just hope the med will work for me tonight crossing my fingers.

My nephew's 10th bday

Last Saturday was my nephew's 10th birthday. We decided to go to the local beach and brought all his friends there. The kids enjoy a lot as well as the grown ups. The thing with the grown ups we are afraid of the hotness of the sun while the kids they don't care as long as they enjoyed each others company. I only have one nephew and that makes him very special to me. Oh by the way buti nalang walang ni-isang nag suot nang bathing suit or else luto sa init nang araw hehehe. Here are some of the pics.
At the end of the day even if I was tired and sleepy me and my niece and nephew went to a Shrine. Here in this picture we lighted a candle and my nephew say a little prayer a very good boy he is.

Thanks God!!

Hello mga friends I am here in my hometown and soaking with sweat right now it is too hot hehe. My story begins the day I departed from Detroit June 16, my flight departed at 3:10pm. Arrived at the airport more than two hours early I immediately checked in and with my step-daughter and her granddaughter helping me(because hubby was looking for a parking lot) with my huge two heavy luggages it makes it easy to pull and push. We were in the checking counter area when we found out that, they only allowed 50 lbs now instead of the 70lbs that I know before. Therefore, every luggages that I had was overweight of 10lbs. we took everything that we think it is heavy specially the Olay soap, some victoria secret lotion and chocolates it does help because when we put back my two luggages it was already in the right allowed weight. So goodbye chocolate, soap and victoria secret.
After they gave to me my boarding pass I said byebye to my SD and her granddaughter and kissed my hubby twice and hug him tight cause I definitely missed him much then I procedeed to the security area where they will checked again the checked in luggage. Jeez, my hand carry bag is so heavy and my OTHER victoria secret lotion aren't allowed to be checked in, so they confiscated it all wahhhh another 4 victoria secret down to the drain.
After the security area I immediately headed to the assigned gate thankfully it was not that far from the main lobby. When I get there I saw people started to line up because we are already ready to board the plane. But something was wrong in the flashing monitor, it says SAn Francisco but the gate number is right A-40???!!! I said to myself what is wrong here??Something is odd. Then it happened that a filipina at my side smiled at me and we started to talked and I later knew that her husband is from Mindanao and she is from Pangasinan so we just become automatic friends hehehehhe. Then I asked them what do they think why in the monitor it says SAn Francisco instead of Narita, Japan. They also don't know nothing so I just waited but deep down I had a feeling something is wrong here.
We were inside the plane when they announced that there was this volcanic eroption somewhere in Russia or Alaska and it was advised not to passed that route. That explains why in the monitor it flashes San FRancisco. But the thing is it will took us another 4 hrs from Detroit to SAn Francisco then SF to Japan for another 11 hrs. I knew for sure that I won't be able to catched up my next connecting flight from Narita, japan to Manila. Then somebody announces again that we will just wait for another advice that the Federal will give us when we arrive in SF.
We arrived SF safely it was a long 4 hrs flight we were not allowed to deplane since they only refuel the plane and it only take them almost an hour to do that. While I was inside the plane feeling agitated, bored and tired the stewardess announced that we are going to take off soon and that after 11 hrs of long flight we will spend a night in Narita,Japan!! holy guacamole I said to myself this couldn't be happening, my connecting flight from Manila to my hometown will depart at 5:55am JUne 18!! And I was also thinking of my "sundo" at the airport hoping na hinde ako nila iniwanan. I had mixed emotion feeling tired, sleepy, shock, to top it all very worried. So I immediately called my hubby that I am in SF he too was shocked and explained to him why. Then I told him about my "sundo" and my domestic flight. He advices me to just take one step at a time since with this kind of fortuitous event it is nobody's fault and we don't have nothing to do. It made me feel okay and just leave it to PRAYER!! Yes prayer....I did pray to God that HE will do miracles that something is going to happen and it did!!! We landed in Japan safe and sound and the stewardess says that all the flights that are called will proceed to the gate assigned. She says that the passengers who are bound to Manila will proceed to Gate 22. Every body was in a rushed going to that gate not knowing what we would find out. Wow to my amazement the plane that we are supposed to ride going to the Philippines is still there. The plane waited for us wohoooo!! Isn't it a miracle we are so behind the time and the plane crew talked about we are going to stay one night in the airport hotel but here it is the plane waited for us. A prayer answered right away.
After boarding the plane, the pilot says that they are going to try to drive faster than they are used to at napatunayan naman nila because we arrived Manila almost 2am in the morning of June 18.The worries that was lurking on me the whole time are gone because after I took all my luggages I went down to Tarmac and here is my sundo waiting for me for 3 hrs. Then I procedeed to NAIA 3 (because my connecting flight is Cebu Pacific) and again I was there on time.
With what I experienced this past few days I could say God is alive and if we pray everything will follow. I was seating at Gate 119 and thinking about the past hours thanking GOD about everything. So I am here in my hometown enjoying my nieces and nephew na ang laki na at ang mga kulittttt. Tomorrow we are going to the beach for my nephews 10th bday. I haven't visited my parents grave yet but will do that of course sooner. It is too hot in here nag melt ata ako para kasing pumayat ako hehehe. Will post some pictures soon. Have a great weekend to all. God is good!
Of all the meals this is the one that I was able to take a picture (breakfast meal)
One of those Cebu Pacific gate counter

My first FAWN!

Yesterday afternoon while hubby was cutting the hay in the field and I was busy blog hopping he called me to come and if I like to see a fawn. I was hesitant at first because it was too hot 72F. But I had this mixed emotion, anything that is from nature stirs my curiosity so I get my butt up, grabbed my digital camera and headed to the field. I was right behind the corn crib when I saw the fawn, oh my he/she looks so pretty with a lot of spots on her/his body. I walked so slow trying not to make a sound it might scare the fawn. I was behind in this huge tree when I tried to look at the field but I couldn't find the fawn. Everything stood still in a moment I didn't move from where I was standing even if it was too hot until right in front of me I sense something is moving YES!! it was the fawn laying down or trying to hide from me? I didn't say anything, usually I talked to animals or plants but this time I was hesitant to say anything but I did took a lot of pictures and here they are. When the fawn sees me he/she get up and tried to eat some fresh hay.
I tried to move closer but the fawn looks at me trying to say don't move closer my momma is watching you!!!Then he/she took off heading to the side of the field which was not yet cut but I guess the fawn's momma was there waiting.

I just wonder...

To all my mommy friends I'd like to ask you questions because I just wonder if  you would allow this to your daughter or son...

1. Do you allow your sons or daughters to go Summer camp?

Summer camp is a supervised program for children and/or teenagers conducted (usually) during the summer months in some countries. Children and adolescents who attend summer camp are known as camper. The traditional view of a summer camp as a woodsy place with hiking, canoeing, and campfires is evolving, with greater acceptance of newer summer camps that offer a wide variety of specialized activities. For example, there are camps for the performing arts, rock music, magic, computers, language learning, children with special needs, and weight loss. In fact, the American Camp Association reports that in 2006, 75 percent of camps added new programs. This is largely to counter a trend in decreasing enrollment in summer camps, brought about by smaller family sizes, the growth in supplemental educational programs and the popularity of electronic media, all of which have made keeping children inside and occupied much easier than in previous generations.

2. Do you allow your son or daughter to sleep over at friends house, classmates house or neighbors house? And if you don't allow her/him how are you going to explain to her/him that you don't agree on sleep over idea.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

My take on this two questions:

1. It's only here in US that I found out that there is such thing as summer camp. Wala naman ito sa Pilipinas when I grew up. Summer when I was young is playing with my cousins, neighbors and siblings until parang kasing black na ako nang uling. Summer is when we make our Mom resttttttttt specially in getting up early in the morning, because we are the one who will do the household chores. That time wala pa namang mall sa city namin so saan kami mag-lalaro at mag hang out doon sa school playground my mama or papa will just call us in time for lunch.  Though summer camps won't last the whole summer it only lasted at least 2 weeks and it cost more than $1,000 I guess to enroll for summer camp depending on the activities they offer.  My take is 50% okey and 50% nope, because it depends kung may pera. On the other hand  it is nice for them to meet and socialize other people but I will see to it that the place, the people are reliable and safe. In other words may kaba ako palagi specially they are young and they are out there expose to different people whom I don't know.

2. This is 100% NO WAY!! Lol does I sound paranoid or over protective? Well I am an aunt and have nieces and nephew whom I do care and love. Thinking that they are out there sleeping in anothers house whom I don't personally know the people inside makes me freak out!

Another bargain day...

Yesterday my friend Mary called me and left a message that today in her area has 3 subdivision garage sale. This morning I went to the subdivision that she told me and meet her there hehehe, we were having a ball, all three subdivision we went through and we found very good deal. Ashley was with (my friends daughter) us and so we just took our time walking around the subdivision looking for good stuff, good condition and cheap item. As usual I am looking for my nieces and nephew stuff and I noticed that it is hard to find nice stuff for boys than girls. Boys pants or t-shirts usually ended up shabby looking unlike the girls dresses it does look brand new. But if you are a bargain hunter like me you could find good one because I have to look for it and not jump right away in one house and buy what is appealing to the eyes rather go hop like a grasshopper that what makes the fun hehehe.

How much do you think is this Naturalizer wedge? It is only $1!! Good deal or bad deal hehe.Okie dokie this is my favorite stuff for the day, I say favorite because this 3 men Eau de Toilette just cost me $5 oh yeah!! The Fahrenhiet by Dior is $2, Aramis Life is $2 and Dune by Dior is $1. And look at the bottle parang hinde na kunan nang kahit isang patak man lang. I really did asked again if how much each one because I don't want to pay much it is not my priority but anyway she told me it is just $2 I took it all in other word pinakyaw ko lol! And here are the rest of what I bought today: Barbie stroll bag $2, Barbie dolls .50cent, barbie books .25cent,barbie tea party fun dough set $1,girls dressess $2 and tops .50cents, and boys pants and shirts .50cents.

Bargain deal...

Happy June 1st everyone. It's the middle of the year again and it is almost the end of spring and summer will be here soon. Here in Michigan as soon as the spring hits the calendar, garage sale, yard sale and any kind of sale sign are posted everywhere. Last, Saturday our neighboring subdivision were having a garage sale, of course as a bargain hunter like me I headed to that subdivision. The sale started at nine o'clock and when I arrived there jeez cars are everywhere I have a hard time squeezing myself where to park and too careful not to scratch somebodies car! Anyway, just like what I do everytime I went for a sub-sale I'll leave the car somewhere and walk around. I have a good time looking around though it started to drizzle but people just don't mind it at all they are bargain hunter like me. I spend almost $30 and here is what I've got. The most expensive of all is the purple traveling bag cost$10 which is nine and company by nine west, cd's cost .50 cents , vidalia cutter $2, This wok is new but got it for $3This 4 pillows cost $3And this barbie sandals the pink one cost $.75 and the white one cost $1.00, learning cards cost .50cent
