The Roses

The first time hubby and I went to a Rose show at Grand Rapids, Michgian held at Frederick Meijers Garden and Sculpture Park, I was amazed of how many variety of roses are there and it's worth the trip. What I regretted was that I missed the Chrysanthemum show it would take another year for me to wait to see beautiful Chrysanthemums. For now let's enjoy my roses.

I still do not know the variety of colors for roses, thinking about the usual red, white and yellow. The perfect bunch of roses, the peach and pink/white roses are unique and beautiful. No doubt the aroma inside the show had to be divine with rows of flowers all around. Sweet!

Who can ever get "too much" of roses?

DITTY IN RED

Just a pinch of scarlet
To liven up the place;
Just a hint of ruby
Brushed upon your face;
Just a bit of cherry
Dancing round your toes;
Just some sanguine colors—
That’s the way it goes!
