Cardinal

I had a pair of Cardinals that keep on visiting my bird feeder. When I see them I grabbed my camera and noiselessly crept at the window and behind a curtain tried to look where the birds are located. What I like in cardinal is that they don't fly too quick even if they noticed a little sound or movement unlike some other birds.

Yes, cardinals don't fly away quickly because they like to be kings (and queens) of the bird feeder!

A TOUCH OF RED

They say that just one touch of red
Will put big, bold thoughts in your head.
So scarlet’s for you,
And burgundy too,
And cardinal and carmine—all red!

Yes, she is so beautiful in flaming red. God bless you more for taking care of God's little creatures. Birds are so wary of men because of man's cruelty to them as embedded on their collective consciousness. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Cardinals are lovely, and I enjoy watching the females with their red only on top - try to find them. The males are always stunning. Spring is here, soon little baby cardinals. An elegant and stylish bird!

Lovely shot of the cardinal--they are such brightly colored, pretty birds. It was a giant Redwood tree in California--they are awesome, aren't they!!! Thanks for the nice compliment too. Mickie :)
