Child abuse: A nanny caught on tape

I saw this video in my friends facebook account it affected me much naghalo-halo ang emotion ko. I refuse to imagine this would happen to any of my pamangkins, friends kids or to any child in this world.

A trip to look forward to......

Daisypath Vacation Ticker

Basing on my vacation ticker I am 2 weeks and 4 days until my 5th Philippine vacation yehey! That is why I was in and out of blogosphere world I was busy contacting people in the Philippines to buy for me my domestic ticket and my transportation from International airport to domestic airport. Everything is set now, bought my NWA ticket last Monday, bought my domestic ticket Thursday (through a friend), checked NWA and picked my seating area ( I am kind of late here I am not seated on the aisle jeez!), contacted my ever suki Pensionne house in Manila , I emailed the in-charge Ate Mila if I could avail their transportation from Naia to where Cebu pacific terminal is, and thankfully she said yes hayyyyyy love her so much!!! I guess everybody knew that it is very hard to find a trustworthy taxi driver in Manila kung meron man God bless him!! But it scares me to think I am alone in the middle of the night with all my heavy luggage and with a stranger in front of me can't imagine that. That is why since 2003 until now 2009, for six long years suking suki talaga ako dito sa Pensionne house na ito. Every time I went to visit Philippines I'll just emailed Ate Mila send my flight itenerary to her and voila when I get out from the Tarmac the car is already waiting for me. So much for that now, had to do a lot of things straight here in my abode, before I will go for a month vacation. Ciao!

Memorial day celebration

Hello guys and gals, hows your Memorial day weekend goes? We didn't go far this time my SS and his wife invited us to a bar-b-que party at their house which is a neighbor pwede lang lakarin bahay nila from us. But since andito tayo sa US dina-drive kahit malapit lang hehe. At around 4:00pm we headed to their house and we are the first one who got there. Hubby help his son doing some stuff at the garage while I did help preparing things at the kitchen. After all the food are done we put it all inside the oven to make it hot all the time. At the front of their house they have a pond the water is so clear it does look so inviting for swimming. I decided to went outside for a stroll with their dog, his name is Milo. He is so cute he runs like crazy specially when he noticed that I also like to play with him.
Took a picture of their house from the pond...while Milo is running towards ME!! I like their house it has four rooms, 3 bedrooms above the main floor and 1 masterbedroom on the main floor. It has a huge deck at the back (wished I took a picture of it while we are having our eating session) and a wrap around porch in front. And it is situated on a 10 acres property land. Nice no like ko talaga ang design nang house na yan.Milo likes to play right close to the pond but not me the water is cold for sure
Gandang magmuni-muni sa bench na yan naka harap sa pond. Water can make me relax and calm what about you guys?Dyandyaran!! Here's the food...
Here is my plate, I ate corn cob which is my favorite, pork baby back ribs and mashed baked potato. My bana's plate is full too hehe, he had mashed potato, italian sausage, chicken barbeque, baked beans and caesars salad
Took some of their flowers that they bought in the nursery house. This one is called petunia.
But this other one I don't know the name of it. It does look so pretty in person I am so amazed that when you look at it closely the flower that is hanging down looks like a paper flower. That is why when I look at it closer I touched it para kasi siyang papel hapon na ginawag parang flower.Specially that violet or purple color para siyang ruffled skirt at yang red balls parang chinese lantern nagandahan talaga ako. Kaya lang they are annual flowers they don't come back or grow again next year like any other perennial flowers. And every hanging basket of annual flowers cost almost $30, di ko siya ma kaya (kuripot si ako) not unless perennial yan okey lang pero annual I don't buy it. Kaya admire to the max ever nalang ako and took picture maganda kasing tingnan. So that's how our Memorial weekend goes...oh by the way I drink two glassess of white wine (yung pang-sosyal na glass) jeez na drunk ata ang beauty ko. I told hubby..hon I think I am drunk. Hubby said how many did you drink? I said two. Hubby said oh your drunk. LOL!!

Memorial Day

We remember all those who fought for the freedom we enjoy in this United States of America

Following the end of the Civil War many communities set aside a day to mark the end of the war or as a memorial to those who had died. The first memorial day was observed in 1865 by liberated slaves who re interred the dead Union soldiers from a mass grave to individual graves, fenced in the graveyard and built an entry arch declaring it a Union graveyard. This was a daring action for them to take in the South shortly after the North's victory. On May 30, 1868, the freed slaves returned to the graveyard with flowers they had picked from the countryside and decorated the individual gravesite, thereby creating the first Decoration Day.

The official birthplace of Memorial Day is Waterloo, New York where John A. Logan helped bring attention to the event nationwide. On May 5, 1868, in his capacity as commander in chief of the Grand Army of the Republic, a veteran's organization, Logan issued a proclamation that "Declaration Day" be observed nationwide. It was observed for the first time on May 30 of the same year; the date was chosen because it was not the anniversary of a battle. The tombs of fallen Union soldiers were decorated in remembrance.
The alternative name of "Memorial Day" was first used in 1882. It did not become more common until after World War 11, and was not declared the official name by Federal law until 1967. On June 28,1968, the United States Congress passed the Uniform Holidays Bill which changed all the government holidays to a Monday. The change moved Memorial Day from its traditional May 30 date to the last Monday in May. The law took effect at the federal level in 1971.

Thank you Mel, my whereabouts, my take on the sex video scandal

First of, I would like to thank Mel ( Points of View blogspot ) who featured ME on his other blog ( Let me review your blog ), last night was my first time to see this other blog of Mel, I was very elated and honored that of all the blogs in the blogosphere I was chosen to be featured on Mel's review. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

    2. My last entry was last Sunday right? Wow! For me that is too long of not updating my blog here. But friends, ladies and gentlemen Lola ninyo ang busy talaga grabe! Aside from the Tuesday family brunch that we have, hubby and I oftentimes visited my SIL in the hospital. Yesterday hubby, SIL and I went to Allegan county to accompany my SIL's friend. It took 160++ miles going to that particular town and going back makes it almost 400++ miles. My body was kind of beat up hehe. In other words with those three days that I am not around here in blogosphere I was always on the road hayyy. Right now I am doing my laundry magic moment and thanks God we have a sunny day!

    3. Last week I already heard this sex scandal video between Dr. Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili, but parang dini-deadma ko lang eh hinde naman this just happened now na may sex video lalo na mga celebrity diba? Kaya lang today I receive an email from a friend involving this issue and it is again about the video. My friend attached in her email in You tube website as I was watching eh sumasayaw lang naman sila ah!! Ganda nga nang wankata ni Katrina at ito namang si Hayden parang HIGH ata??? Anyway, they are both swinging and dancing to the tune of Careless Whisper hehehe kulang nalang my pole sa gitna at nang lalong aarangkada silang dalawa.

Then I click the next attachment, jeezzzzzzz it is a pornographic video. Okay I look at it in the dictionary Pornographic means portraying sex explicitly: sexually explicit and intended to cause sexual arousal
Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
And it was not just Katrina Halili there is another girl name Maricar Reyes naku talaga I can't comprehend what are they now feeling and also to their parents and family. Syempre mahiya na sila eh kalat na eh. Talagang nasa cyberspace na ito mga girls even if you are a daughter of the richest man on earth di na natin ito ma stop nor ma avoid na hinde kakalat. Talagang stigma na ito sa dalawang girls na ito hanggang sa sila ay tatanda. I feel pity to this two ladies, for me parang they trusted him but they never knew that Hayden was taking a VIDEO on them!!! Is he an exhibitionist or just a plain sick pyscho?

    Here is my take:

I have watched the two videos in full length. Okay as adult as we are I have to say this, I think I can't be here blogging without my parents doing the sex act right? hah!! Will just be honest here okay?? But the difference is that your parents or my parents did that in the confinement and sacredness of marriage right? Now looking back to the two videos that I have seen, EVEN if the sexual act was done before marriage (pre-marital sex)(another issue to tackle) pero grabe namang tong lalaking ito he has no RESPECT to this young ladies. Granted na patago nga itong kanilang ginawa but it was so obvious that this Dr. Hayden Kho breach the contract of TRUST!! May kuha pa doon sa video nila ni Maricar that Hayden kept on going back and forth to this room eh kaya pala doon nakatago yong camera. Yung kay katrina as I have known was taken in Hayden's condo kaya for sure naka lagay na yun kung saan man Hayden hide it.

Then the next video was about Sen. Bong Revilla doing the speech about the sex scandal and he is urging that Hayden's license will be strip off of him. Sa narinig ko marami din siyang mga positive points na sinabi niya but hallerrrrrrrr.....marami atang problema ang Pilipinas na dapat ninyong pansinin at bakit ito pang sex scandal video ang pinagdidiskritaan na naman!! Let the Board of Medicine or PRC (tama ba ako?) do their action on this matter kung nakalabag nga ba si Hayden acccording to their code of Ethics. Jeez,, ito nga namang mga politiko kahit anong iskandalo they tried to be there pang pa appeal lang naman yan.

    TGIS! (thanks God it's Sunday)

It's Sunday yayyyyy woke up kind of early (7:00am) hubby was still in bed but awoke he asked me if we can attend church at 8:30am I told him I can't do that I am still very sleepy I arrived home last night almost 12:00 midnight. So we agreed to attend mass at 10:30am instead.

Yesteday, I went to Rowenas house for our Saturday night movie time. We have done this several times already and it was fun. CAthy and Randy came, Mary and Eric came too and the food is awesome we brought different foods depending on what we feel like cooking that day. I cooked bulad na sarciado and it was a hit of course to the pinay but not to the Kano husband lol. But Eric love it hehe. We've been doing this for quite sometime now since we don't see that much often everybody is busy the whole week. So when we see each other it is a blast we peg out and we watched movie until midnight. Ciao and Happy Sunday!

    Garage sale

Yesterday, I went to a garage sub-sale and as usual cars makes the subdivision busy. Cars are parked each side of the road it is hard to get around. So what I did was parked the car and just walked around  the subdivision and that was pretty good I had the privileged to go around and do my walking exercise at the same time.

I like garage sale, aside from my being a cheapo person its the best time that I can find stuff that are unique and sometimes are worth buying for. And oftentimes when I go around browsing you can't help but noticed that some people are extravagant, some may have a problem of impulse buying(because their stuff still has a tag), some have a good taste, some houses stinks because of the cigarette smokes and etc.

After garage sale I went home and hubby and I went to Lapeer to visit his Uncle and cousin. When we get home my hubby's cellphone rung and it was his sister telling him that their eldest sister passed out, fell down from the stairs and they are kind of afraid because she might have a heart attacked. We headed to the hospital immediately and was ushered to the emergency room. The doctor told us that she didn't had a heart attacked rather she had 2 blood clots in her brain and that may cause her passing out that lead to her falling from the stairs and broked her shoulder blade and 3 ribs. When we found out that she is going to sleep (they injected her pain killer and other medicine it made her sleepy) and she is going to tranfer to the intensive care unit we headed home and get our rest too we arrived home almost 12o'clock midnight.

Today, we went to the eye doctor for hubbys check up. Thankfully, I brought a book with me I was reading the whole time he was inside the check up room. Then we headed home and stopped at Bueches grocery store to send money to my family back in the Philippines through Western Union.  Then we headed to Sprint store to change my hubbys cellphone plan his 2 year contract was up and I wanted for him to get a one year contract, lower the minutes used and the bill per month.

Now I am kind of tired but had to update my blog since tomorrow is a weekend and somethings has to be done too like folding the clean laundry, watching movie, strolling and might be cleaning the yard (again!!)

    Wednesday update

Monday, I didn't do anything but clean the kitchen floor. I don't like cleaning floors because I had to bend, kneel or sit on the floor brushing each and every tile in other words talagang kinaka-career ko! I'd rather do the husking than brushing tiles that at the end of the day my body was so sore and I am already cranky. But the result was excellent the tile floor was spick and span that I didn't put back the floor carpet it looks like it doesn't belong there hehe.
Tuesday, it's our family brunch schedule. After brunch time hubby and I headed home and since it was sunny yesterday hubby decided to uproot the huge root from the evergreen tree that was toppled down last storm. It was fun watching how the huge machine pull the roots and drag it to the ditch.

Today, Wednesday I am going to do laundry. The clothes are already as high as Mt. Pinatubo hehehehe. I am juggling if I am going to put the clothes at the clothesline hmmmm will see! Here are some of the picture from yesterday.

    Our Mothers Day celebration

How's everyone doing on this mothers day. Are you all had a good day? Whatever or what kind of celebration you've got as long as we are with our love ones that is what matter most.

Yesterday, Saturday hubby took me to Sam's I thought we are only going to do some grocery shopping but he also bought me a huge hydrangea flower. I was half surprised half not surprised since few days ago we talked about not him buying any flowers for me (for mothers day), specially cut flowers that would only withered rather a live plants so I could plant it. Yesterday he surprised me with this huge hydrangea of course I had this huge grin on my face. As we go around the store looking for some stuff, I spotted the shelves of roses yayyy I was so happy when I saw it, hubby told me to get two of them for another flowers for mothers day hehehe.

Today, Sunday, mothers day I woke up late hubby woke me up with a happy face and loudly greets me HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! Hayyy I may not have biological child but I consider my nieces and nephew as my own too so I might as will celebrate this day too why not!! So we attended the 10:30 am mass at our parish church St. Anne. After the mass our priest told us that their are people who are selling carnation flower for just a $1 a piece hubby bought one hehe and I choose the red one. After church we headed to Mongolian Buffet restaurant and had our lunch date there. They had a lot of food selection and the restaurant is packed with people. We went home I was so full actually I was pegging out with a lot of shrimp I was craving it for days. Here are some of the pictures.

200 abduction a year in USA?

This scares me though I don’t have any kid here at home but what if it happened to my friends or relatives kids what we gonna do?I heard this news this morning that another kid was abducted right inside his own home. The person who abducted the kid didn’t get the new high tech things it just makes you think that he is for the kid only. The scary part is that this people who abduct young children will bring the kids to Mexico and who knows what they do with this innocent small kids. Hubby and I were driving at the Interstate highway of Florida 3 years ago and all of a sudden we saw at our back through the rare view mirror more than 5 police cars blaring the sirens and jeez I thought there was a civil war I haven’t had any experienced of that kind in MI. Then more police cars coming from intersection I was scared, we had to stopped and we are stuck in the long stretch highway together with other cars. As I look above the traffic signs it flashes AMBER ALERT, so then we knew that a kid is abducted and police are chasing the kidnapper. It makes my heart ache if I heard news like this it is hard for parents to lose a child if he/she died in sickness but it would also be so gut wrenching heart breaking time if a child is abducted by an unknown person. Let us just always pray that we all be protected in Gods love and mercy from this evil people who is just around the corner.
