Star Kargo?

Last November 16, 2008 my huge box for Pinas was picked up by an agent of Star Kargo (AbS-Cbn).  I was used to send my box with Forex because I can track it down in there website. But this time the agent said that he is into Star Kargo and so I switch.  Christmas and New Year came and gone still no box. But before Christmas I called there customer service and after  New Year too but still I only be answered they couldn't track the package yet hmmp! So I tried to reasoned out to myself that it  might  be because of the holiday that the package is not yet there in Manila. So I stretched out my patience and let the weeks passed. Yesterday, I called the agent because I already wondered how come the box is not yet delivered where the heck is my box?? I found out that the SKIL # that is in my receipt is not the SKIL # that the agent had. I was already started to be pissed off but choose to be calmed (inhaleeeee exhaleeeee!!) After I talked to the agent I called the number that he gave me and I found out that it is another agent from Chicago and he told me that the box arrived in Philppines December 10!!!! Again this agent gave me another phone number that I have to call to confirm and that is the STar Kargo customer service! I didn't say anything to this agent that I knew their customer service number by heart  since November 2008. Still I have to keep calm and recollect myself because the lava is already ready to be spewed!! After I talked to this agent in Chicago, I called their customer service number and answered all the information she needed. But ended up telling me that I had to call back after two hours because Manila office is not yet open at that time Grrrrrr!! So I waited for two long hours and called again. This time the woman who answered was able to locate the box and told me that the box is already in our town and it will be delivered 1 or two days!! Geezzz! AFter more than 2 months and 8 days the box is not yet physically delivered in our door step. And so therefore, with my experienced with ABS-CBN STAR KARGO??? I rated them -5,  thumbs down , very poor service!!

My goodness, that's the kind of customer service you get when it comes to dealing pinoys hahaha. Especially sending it around november, expect the worst delay ever. I suggest to send it like around october, i'll guarantee it will be there before the holidays. My boxes are still here waiting for the second one to be completely full lol.

Hi vanz, first time it happened to me sa abs-cbn star kargo pa. I understand for a little delay because of the holiday season but goodness graceous nag two months na di pa na deliver. Iba talaga ang serbisyong pinoy!

Same experienced! we drop off our package to our agent here in alabama last November 2, 2008 and they said it takes only 35 days to the manila and then another 10 days to other provinces.and until now we don't have any idea where our package is! I contact the Authorized agent(G-Star Trading LLC in Virginia) they send me an mail that telling me to contact this person just like they treat their customer like a ping pong ball; they don't can't tell exactly about the status of your package it's now 90 days and then I contact again our agent here in alabama and she gave me the number to call in the phippines and then I found out that number can't be reach my god! what kind of business is this? they give you a tracking number that you can't track? and they give you a customer service number and-mail that there's no service? what's this? and it says ABS-CBN starkargo?f it's under ABS-CBN we expect to much for the service but I think we are wrong when it comes to service!!!

Hi Jennie, that is one thing with Abs-cbn star kargo they don't have a website that we can track down our package. What I did I called the agent who picked the package and asked him the SKIL # because I found out that my SKIL # and my agents SKIL # are not the same. Then call this number 1-866-STAR-555.
Just like you I thought it is because ABS-CBN we can rely on there service but I was so disappointed the good thing is that the package came in ONE PIECE salamat naman at di nagkagutay-gutay mantakin mong more than two months na yong package.
Hope everything will work fine at your end don't stop calling they have to know they got a very bad service.

We have a terrible experience here -- kasi palinawag lang --- If your boxes were picked up by G-STAR TRADING na ABS-CBN, hindi yun na deliver ng StarKargo. G-STAR TRADING sent the boxes through MANILA FORWARDERS and NOT THROUGH ABS-CBN STARKARGO. We found this out later on. Tapos G-STAR was not returning calls. We finally received the phone number ng Manila Forwarders in the Philippines and was able to track our boxes. We demanded syempre to deliver the boxes right away.... wala din. Anyway, this is not the problem with ABS-CBN STARKARGO -- but with this G-STAR TRADING who just used the StarKargo's name and shipped the boxes through Manila Forwarders. Meron pangang mga tsismis from VA Beach Manila Forwarders na binili na daw nila yung ABS-CBN StarKargo which is so untrue. Just want to clarify this awful, awful use of the ABS-CBN StarKargo's name!

If that is the case bakit pumapayag ang starkargo na ma gamit ang name nila ng G-star trading llc? hindi ba nila na isip na nasisira ang reputation nila just becuase of others? hay iwan ang gulo!!!

The WORST door-to-door company that I ever dealt with.

ABS-CBN StarKargo picked up the boxes at my house on May 23rd. I called them the other day to track the boxes down and was told that the boxes were not shipped until June 29th & expected to arrive in Manila on July 29th. WHAT? And was also told that it won't arrive in my hometown until August 10th.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Sobrang abala talga yang strkargo na yan...9 days na ko naghihintay ng package namin galing tate hanggang ngayon wla parin.ang dme ko na nakausap puro wlang kwenta..bigay sila ng bigay ng date d nmn naddedeliver...kakagigil abs cbn pa nmn ang may ri tpos ganyan...dapat ang management ng abs cbn ay may gawin para maayos tong kabulukan ng serbisyo ng starkargo na yan..at ang contact numbers nila d mo talga macocontact mapupudpod ang daliri mo...d ko lam kung strategy nila un para d makapagverify ang mga customer nila..GRabe talga at sobrang ka bulukan ng siste,ma ng abs cbn starkargo nayan..kaya kayong lahat kung balak nio magpadala sa starkargo wag na lng pakiusap mapapraning lng kayo kung asan na ang packge nio at kung kelan idedeliver at masama baka hindi pa nga madeliver...umaasa parin ako na matatanggap namin u ng package hanggng ngyon...
kaya starkargo at abs cbn gumawa kayo ng paraan para maayos ung kumpanya nio or mas maganda MAGSARADO NLNG KAYO....

I have the same experience. I prefer Manila Forwarders, personally my agent is Chax Chavez and he delivers boxes from home. He also has an online tracking so you know where exactly the box is, which location etc.

I do some shopping at Nevada during my visit there last December. I packed them before Christmas so that before I leave US my boxes were sent already. I went back to Philippines before my boxes were ship out. To make the story short...the boxes were picked up 1st week of January because the agent said that even they pick up the packages 3rd or last week of December they will only stay at their storage area until first week of January because it's peak season. My other boxes were sent through LBC (Spanaway, WA) the same week my packages at Star Kargo were picked up. LBC has delivered my boxes to my place in the province after 45 days of waiting but my boxes at Star Kargo until this time has not reach me. I've called long distance to Star Kargo office a lot of times only to hear that the cargo vessel was delayed. They got my contact number but still there is no advise from them. Last week, I followed up again...the vessel is due to arrive that Thursday night daw and after that it will pass Custom and have to wait for another 7 to 15 days to be deliver....hayyyy....i should not have sent my boxes through them. I tried to get the agent's contact number in the province so that i don't have to call long distance to follow up. My request was declined because they are not allowed to give the contact numbers of their agents. Very poor service!!! Today is March 6....WALA PA DIN BOXES KO.

nabiktima din ako ng star kargo na yan...first week ng january pinick-up yung box ko, hanggang ngayon wala pa....hayyyy.....walang kwenta yung abs cbn starkargo....sa lahat ng pinagpadalhan ko, d2 lang tala kumolo yung dugo ko ng husto...mga sinungaling silang lahat....

wahhhhhh....until now wala pa rin yung box ko sa Pilipinas....I called customer service, the one who picked my box and the agent, and no one wants to answer my call. Ano bang klaseng ABS CBN ito....the worst...4 months na yung box ko di pa rin dumadating....BEWARE...they changed their name to FILCARGO...ano para lokohin na naman yung maraming tao???

Do you know the contact number na pwedeng mag follow-up dito sa Manila? My sister in law also sent a box nung Jan 22, 2010 pa. up to now wala pa rin :(

Another bad experience with Star Kargo...

Got two boxes sent by my cousin, picked-up from her house last March 16, 2010..supposedly shipped last March 27 and should have received it first week of May, but until now wala pa rin...

2 weeks na kaming tumatawag dito sa local agent to check on our boxes..same dialogue "wala pa po sa manifest ma'am, please try to call after 2 days/next week, baka dun po nasabay yung box ninyo,"

They can't tell kung nasaan na yung boxes namin, na-pickup from us, but they can't tell kung napasama ba sa March 27 shipment, naiwan ba sa Virginia? nasa laot ba or nasa Phil Customs na?...

Sobrang tagal! We just tried their service kasi ang nakalagay sa website nila is from sailing date,"transit time for balikbayan box from Virginia to ABS-CBN Starkargo Philippine warehouse Metro Manila 37 days," tapos ang mura pa dahil $70 per box...

hmm mapapamura ka nga palang talaga sa sobrang tagal!!

Grabeeh! ngayun ko lang nabasa tong mga post at comments niyo. Kung alam ko lang na ganito pala ka worst ang serbisyo ng STAR KARGO, hindi na sana namin pindala sa kanila ang 3 boxes namin for our family in the Phils. We were told by their Orlando, Fl agent ( Mr. Luis Araneta) that they picked up our boxes last week of March. He said that in his e-mail, the boxes arrived in the Phils. April 24. Then April 26 it came out of custom. Delivery will start May 11. But until now wala pa ring nare-receive ang family ko. I called ABS-CBN customer service several times pero wala silang maibigay na any information abt. the status of our shipment. My sister tried calling Star Kargo Manila office pero puro lang sila pangako ng date of delivery pero until now wala pa rin.
Heck!!! it's very frustrating. I put so much trust that my shipment will be safely delivered to my family by ABS-CBN Star Kargo. I have a friend who had their boxes shipped by another company, kasabay ng boxes namin. Natanggap na ng family nila na nasa provinces pa.
GGRRR!!!

BWISIT tlga yang starkargo na yan! i told my wife na nagoyo silang 3 ng housemates nya who are all working in the US-mura nga daw but i knew there is always something fishy pag mura lng(though d lahat) at nangyari na nga.MAY pa pinadala galing US at hanggang ngaun wala pa at 45 days ang sabi sa kanila. tinanong ko ang kung anu ang status ng boxes at sagot sa akin ay d daw nila alam at pasensya na daw na parang prinaktis na ang lahat ng sagot nila sa mga galit na tatawag.Goodness halos lahat may internet na at lahat ng bagay ata ay mattrace na pag galing dun.i asked for their manager para bigyan lng man ng solusyon o linaw ang problema ko pero ang sabi ay nasa meeting pa daw at 1pm pa mattapos and i called them up 8am.laging umiiwas ang manager at kawawa ung sumasagot sa phone at kung hindi ko minura mura ang employee nila ay hindi pa makaisip ng paraan para ako'y bigyan ng updates.this is a ridiculous shipping company at d na dapat nagooperate e2!i agree wid RAY-we need to do something to stop them from operating and fooling other people.

Wag po kayo magpapaniwala sa ibang nagpopost dito, napagalaman po na ang ibang nagpopost dito lalo na mga Anonymous posts ay mga empleyado ng mga ka kompetensya ng Star Kargo. Forex, Alas, Atlas, LBC. Wag po tayo basta basta nagpapaniwala. Ito po ay isa lamang paninira sa pinagkakatiwalaang ABS-CBN. Wag din po tayo magpaloko sa mga pekeng agents na nagpapakilalang taga Star Kargo, humingi po tayo ng proeba na sila nga ay taga Star Kargo upang makasiguro tayo sa serbisyo.

Grabe talaga ang service ng STAR CARGO so very very.. POOR!! June 6, 2010 napick-up ung package sa house ng sister ko kasi expected nya pagdating ng July 20 asa Manila na, ung sister ko na nagpadala nakarating na ng Phils. at bumalik ng USA ala paring box, kelangan ng father ko na bedridden ung Milk na laman ng package. Everyday I called the Manila Office, the girl named "Peachy" ang alam lang isagot eh "Ma'am wala pa po kami Manifest" di man lang masabi kng asang lupalop na ng mundo ang package. Unfortunately till now wala parin ung package, it's been 91 days too late! Pagganyan, magsara na kayo! kasi madadala lahat ng customer na magpapadala sa inyo. Wag nyo sa ikabit ang ABS-CBN sa name nyo. Nakakahiya!!

Im so frustrated with Starkargo, delivered my box to the agent at Maryland, June 23 and until now when I emailed the agent could not give any definite report on the status of my box. I thought if I sent it thru ABS CBN STAR KARGO, I am sending thru a reliable carrier. Called their Manila office but they always say they still do not have my SK no based on the manifest they have. They told me to email to starkargo_philippines@yahoo.com but got no reply. So where can we get the exact status of out box?

MAG 3 MONTHS NA WALA PA ANG PACKAGE. OH MY GOSH, BUTI NALANG TRY LANG NAMIN TONG BWISIT NA SERVICE NA TO. NEVER NA GAMITIN NAMIN ULIT ANG STAR KARGO. Alam nyo pare-pareho ang experience ko sa mga kwento nyo everytime na tatawag ako sa customer service ng Star kargo! Mga manloloko talaga sila! Never again will I use their service! Let's file a consumer complaint against these people! I just sent ABS CBN an email complaining about their service. Sana makatulong para malaman ko kung saan na ang dalawang boxes na pinadala ko! Nakakakulo talaga ng dugo!

My box was also picked up June 2010, I'm in VA by the way tapos until now wala pa! Everytime na tatawag ako, laging sinasabi na it will be there soon! Is it true na may nahuli daw mga baril sa isang balikbayan box kaya natagalan ang delivery ng lahat ng boxes kasi ininspection daw isa-isa ng customs?

my experience was far worse! i sent out 2 boxes last june 9, 2010. they said that the boxes were delayed due to the US customs inspections. my boxes finally arrived yesterday sept 24 (after almost 4 months!) but HALF of the CONTENTS WERE MISSING! somebody took advantage of the open boxes and helped themselves to my stuff! very frustrating and am very upset about this.... all my christmas gifts stolen! i would never use this company again.... ever!

Sa wakas! After 5 months my boxes arrived intact! I'm glad di binawasan at naka-ready na ang consumer complaint form ko against them! Maybe I would still pursue this complaint to teach them a lesson!

same here, I had horrible experience with star kargo c/o jose villamayos enterprises here in VA. my box was picked up Aug 25, 2010 and to date Dec. 10, 2010 nobody can tell me where the hell is my box! I am filling a claim on January and hopefully they will return the insured amount and the service fee! I was in the impression that this is a reliable forwarding service since its ABS-CBN owned, but its a hoax..company full of thives! I woundnt recommend it!

sa abscbn starkargo---tang ina nyo pag di lang matanggap before xmas ung pinadala ko tang ina nyo talaga.......magkakaalaman na.....punyeta kayung starkargo kayo....walang kwenta...... bat di tayo gumawa ng complain natin lahat na biktima ng kagaguhan ng kargo na ito......para mawala na ito,lalo dadami biktima ng kargago na ito kung di tayo magrereklamo......

We're hoping StarKargo would be true to their words. Sept. 17 ipinadala namin yung box namin through them, until now, wala pa (Dec. 19). They promised delivery before Christmas- hopin they mean Christmas of 2010! Hehehe. Pasko - sana hindi naman "Pasko ng Pagabuhay". We will wait and see and will definitely post the outcome.... Haaay.

August 28 Mr Art Villamayor piicked up my box.....I was told my 2boxes was shipped September 16 hangang ngayon wala pa rin...every customer service na makakausap ko iba-iba ang sinasabi Hindi ko alam Kung sino ang papaniwalaan ko. Sabi nila schedule on delivery Dec 17-22 tumawag ako dahil wala parin,bang tao na naman ang nakausap sabi parating palang daw on vessel pa....HOY STAR-KARGO anong ginagawa nyo.. Umaasa kami na gawin nyo ng tama ang trabaho nyo

First time Kung magpadala already disappointed I was assuming na na delay lang,so I sent another 2 boxes pero noong nalaman ko na ganito kabagal ang serbesyo nila kinausap ko ang taong nag picked up ng box ko na ibalik nalang sa bahay ang box ko kung d pa na shipped out August 28 hanging ngayon 2days nalang Christmas na wala parin....ABS-CBN maaasahan daw......aalagaan ang ang aming padala ..........hangang salita lang pala.......sino pa kaya ang magtitiwala sa inyo kung maraming tao ang niloko nyo....

Same sentiments, I am SO DISAPPOINTED with STARKARGO. I sent two boxes October 4,2010. My first box arrived 2nd week of December. I am still waiting for my other box. Everytime I call the number in the Philippines, they kept on telling me na they are still going to follow up on my 2nd box.

I am leaving again for the US January 2011 (first week). Good luck na lang kung dumating in time. My aunt sent her package via Charity Cargo from Hawaii last November and super bilis andito na agad. Hay! Ill NEVER EVER USE STARKARGO.

Akala ko ako lang nagreklamo sa Star Kargo dami pala. Last na box na napadala last November pa then natanggap nila last Friday pa January na ngayon.Eh sobra 2 months sya bago nakarating at saka iba na daw hindi na puno parang kinuhaan sya. Eh noong pinadala ko sya punong2x.

Nag call ako sa pinadalhan ko sabi nya na may ibang boxes daw dati na sinunog dahil nahulihan ng baril. Kaya ngayon parang ayoko nang mag send ng box sa Star Kargo.

We had the same experience with star kargo. My dad sent the box last week of December 2010 and tried SK for the first time as he was under the impression that this is a reputable company..kasi ABS-CBN nga. Unfortunately, we received the box mid-March 2011 na and we're not used to it coz normally, 45-60 days max lang andito na sa Pinas yung package--regardless of the season. I told my dad not to use this company's service again as it made us all worry about the status of the box! Buti lang sana kung hindi importante yung mga laman. Well, kahit pa nga hindi ganun ka-valuable ang ilan e it is still priceless para dun sa receiver.

Hello, I thought I was the only one having a problem with Star kargo. We've been using Star Kargo for almost a year now. I dont know if im just being lazy to look around for another cargo company or is it because im still hoping that my cargo will get there on time someday since its ABS-CBN, Star Kargo. WRONG! I send boxes every month sometimes even every week and i always have the same problem. First, when ever i call the customer service department dont even have an answer to where and why the cargo are being delayed. I dont think they train the customer service representative right, if you call them same day and you get different reps they will also give you different information. One time i got so mad since my cargo was almost a month late so I requested to have a supervisor call me, well a day later i never got a call and when i called i was told that they couldn't call me back because they "dont have access to call out" and during that time I was in the philippines. Imagine an ABS-CBN company have no access to call out. Wow! I then finally talked to a supervisor name "ERIC GATCHALIAN". OMG instead of him calming me down he got me more upset with the way he answered me and the reasons he gave me why my cargo was so delayed. I also contacted someone here in the Redwood City office and talked to a supervisor name "PIA PALPALADO", again she got me more upset and towards the end of the conversation or my complain she told me that the next time I used a bad word they will not entertain me anymore and that I should look for another company to use (by the way the bad word she said that I said was when I said that their advertisement was full of shit!!!) I was also given by another customer service rep a contact person here in redwood city to send my complain her name is "MS. OLIVIA DE JESUS", i left several messages to the customer service rep and they said they will relay the message and even emailed Ms. De Jesus, again no reply no call back. Just recently i sent a few boxes i was given different dates of arrivals June 19 and June 29 when i finally called June 30 i was told it was just released from the customs and will deliver it bet july 2-3, (by the wat after all my complains all they can say is they have me in their priority list. It doesnt seem like it is) when I told them its not acceptable i got a call back saying they will deliver it that same day (June 30) my consignee waited all day until around 7pm she finally txted one of the wherehouse person name "Sharon" 3 hours later she replied by saying the delivery truck broke down and they cant deliver it that day. Imagine they didnt even call or txt to let my consignee know that they are not going to make it that day. Another frustrating encounter was when I called to Redwood City office just so I can have someone to complain to but I was told that they cant do anything because that department is in the philippines and they will just call me and give me a contact person there to complain. Oh not just that I got a voice message saying that my Cargo has been delivered this was 2am in the philippines when around 1230am i was still talking to my consignee and I know for a fact that my boxes wasnt delivered yet. I wanted to call TV Patrol for BAYAN mo IPATROL mo but hey what are they going to do Star Kargo is an ABS-CBN company so maybe I should go to a different station so they can broadcast how bad of a service this company is giving their customers.

Akala ko ako lang yong victim ng starkargo na yan. Hay nako poor talaga yong service nila imagine almost 3 months bago dumating yong box ko na pinadala. Pagdating ay naku dina puno at iba na daw yong kulay ng tape sa top at maluag na. Yon pa naman yong punong2x na pinadala ko at ang masama pa na victim nila yong box nga agent ng Starkargo dito sa place namin. Nag reklamo yong agent kasi open na daw yong box nya na hinatid walang action sila.So beware talaga kayo sa Star kargo kon ayaw nyong ma biktema.

PLEASE TELL ME A BALIK-BAYAN BOX COMPANY OR FORWARDER FROM THE TIME OF PICK UP AND DELIVERY TO DESTINATION THAT WILL REACH MANILA DESTINATION FOR ONLY 45 DAYS, LUZON FOR 45-55 DAYS, VISAYAS FOR 60 DAYS AND MINDANAO FOR 60-65 DAYS?
THERE IS NONE! YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT IT IS NOW NORMAL TO HAVE YOUR PACKAGES TO BE DELIVER FOR 3 MONTHS OR LESS. NOT 2.
DON'T BLAME THE COMPANY SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO VERIFY THE REAL AND OTHER POSSIBLE REASON. (YES, I AGREE STAR KARGO IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY). HERE IS SOME REASON TO THINK ABOUT.
1) IF YOUR PACKAGES WERE SENT THRU VILLAMAYOR ENTERPRISES (HE USED TO BE STAR KARGO AGENT)NOW HE GOT THE TRUST OF MANY OF HIS SUB-AGENT HE DECIDED TO SEND HIS BOXES ON HIS OWN (YOUR BOXES WAS NOT SEND THRU STAR KARGO BUT SOMEWHERE ELSE) AND CO LOAD WITH OTHER BIG COMPANY FOR BIGGER PROFIT.
2) SOMETIMES YOUR AGENT OR SUB AGENT SENT YOUR BOXES TO THEIR COMPANY BUT ISSUED A POST DATED AND SOMETIMES END UP BOUNCED CHECK THIS CAUSE DELAY ALSO FOR YOUR PACKAGES. SHIPPING COMPANY WILL NOT DELIVER YOUR BOX UNTIL THEY ARE FULLY PAID.
3) WEATHER IN BOTH COUNTRIES.
4) ONCE AGAIN IT IS NORMAL FOR YOUR PACKAGES TO REACH DESTINATION 3 MONTHS OR LESS.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT YOUR AGENT NOT COMPANY HAD THE MONEY TO PAY YOU IF SOMETHING HAPPEN TO YOUR PACKAGES.
I HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE FROM VILLAMAYOR ENTERPRISES I WILL NOT TRUST THEM NOR HIS SUB-AGENT TO SEND MY PACKAGES, NOR BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I also had the same problems with Star Kargo.
I had 2 BB boxes picked by their agent from my house in Phoenix, Arizona on Feb. 15, 2012 to be delivered to Greenhills, San Juan City, Philippines. The agent said it will be delivered in 45 days and the expected date is April 1, 2012. I wondered why it will take 45 days while the other forwarders can do it in 30 days. I have used UMAC forwarder here in Phoenix last Christmas season and it took them only 35 days to deliver on a heavy season so I wondered why Star Kargo would take 45 days. Giving them the benmefit of the doubt and felt that the agent just wants to play safe and quoted 45 days to give allowance for delays, I let it go.
On the 41st day, I emailed the agent and my son in Greenhills if the Boxes have been delivered, my son said NO, and the agent promised once again that it will be delivered April 1, 2012. on April 2, 2012, the Boxes are still undelivered and my son called their Manila office to inquire, but the office in Manila said that they still have no idea where the boxes are. Earlier, the agent emailed me that the boxes are already in Manila and the only problem for delivery is it is raining in Manila which I later found out from my son is not true and its even hot in Manila. Another alibi by the agent and not really telling the truth about the real problem. This is the first time that I encountered such problems in BB boxes since I am sending them almost every other 2 months even while we were in California using a lot of different forwarders but not Star Kargo. If you don't want to be a victim try using other forwarders, and I can really vouch now for UMAC forwarders here in Phoenix, Arizona, and Atlas Forwarders in Northern California.

Me? Got the package after more than 2 months and a lot of stuffs been missing. the whole side of the box been mutilted by the cutter and retaped. ang alibi ng nag deliver, Inayos nga lang daw nya yung Box dahil kumalat daw ang mga laman nito. nag reklamo sa nag deliver na R&M Forwarder dito sa Iloilo, pinasa ako sa Skyland Brokerage Inc na sub agent ng Star Kargo then pinasa ulit ako sa 1-866-STAR-555.
I guess it stops there.
No more actions to give.
Pasensyahan dahil nagtiwala ka sa kanila.

If I only did a little research about this company Starkargo. Two months na wala paring balita in transist pa daw, and sound like they don't even know kong nasaan na ang mga box ko. Never na akong magpapadala ulit na using this company. Very poor service, and the telemarketers were no help at all. They are only there to take your information over over again. EXTREMELY Poor service!

Yung Atlas ang ginagamit ko, 40-45 days ang delivery, good communication pa at internet tracking. Sinubukan ko starkargo, big mistake! Walang sumasagot sa contact sa Pinas, 2 months na wala pa ang package! Yung local contact, pangako nang pangako, next week nang next week, wala naman, can't deliver on promises and package! @#>?<&&*()_%$#@! Don't use it, I will never use them again! Natatakot pa ako ngayon, meron palang nawawala sa ibang box. Balik ako sa Atlas!

Why don't we do that "class action", where should I start? My husband is a legal attorney, and right now I really would love to file for their "FALSE ADVERSTISING". It has been 65 days, no boxes, no traces. I have been told that the boxes is on transit, and that was a couple of weeks ago. Then May 18 their was a shipments from California, and my boxes were not included. So now, again I have to wait for another incoming cargo. If you know how to file a case, please please let me know.

Same problem with me, I sent my box to Villamayor freight forwarders and Lahat ng Lahat ng box ko is napaka important and it cost me a lot. And every time I tacked the tracking number they gave me on my receipt, other information ang lumalabas, and I've been calling them where the hell my box is, and di daw nila makita. And maybe daw na kasama raw sa Ibang container or what. I didn't know na marami na palang complaint ang star kargo at villamayor na yan! Kung Alan ko Lang di sana ako ng padala dun. Dapat Lang talaga sila maireport sa mga kinauukulan or Lalo na sa FBI. And I talked to the agent of villamayor, they told me that at the back of my receipt Meron daw kasunduan dun or regulations na kapag nawala ang box, babayaran daw nila ng 200$, and Sabi ko naman di namin tatanggapin un 200 nila dahil from the beginning pa Lang, puro kasinungalingan na at panloloko mga ginawa nila sa kapwa nila. Mga nakakahilo sila, dinala pa ni
A dito sa America ang mga baho nila.

My friend and I sent a total of 10 boxes in may of 2012. Our agent inGA promised that our boxes will get to Manila at 45 days. Our boxes was sent to Missouri holding warehouse and was stored for a month! There goes the commitment of 45 days. We were so stressed not really knowing where and when the boxes will be delivered. Manila customer service is another story of frustration. Not only are they rude, they too are loaded with sarcasm. Finally our box after more excuses of weather situation in Thailand and Philippines, the box was finally released and delivered August. 12th. Can you imagine 3 months of frustrations and non committal of delivery dates. If they were honest and outright tell their customers that it can range anywhere from 45 days to 90 days for delivery then we can live with that. They give you lip service and false promises. The only consolation was the boxes came intact and did not get lost or stolen or damaged. So my dear fellow pinoy think about it first and if you want the stress and rude customer service both ion the US and Manila, then use star cargo for your balikkbayan box delivery for your family in Manila. mabuhay

we should all file a complaint at bbb.org so other consumers/kababayans can be forewarned about StarCargo. I am so disappointed. It's been 3 months and they can't even trace my box. They don't know if it's in transit or still in the warehouse. I called the customer service and asked about the schedule of incoming cargo from the US, they don't know daw. Tinarayan ko na, sinabi ko how can they not know kung may schedule na parating sa Pinas or paalis na cargo from the US. That's the whole point of having customer service dept.

The agent in IL is MIA. I tried to call him for the nth time and no call back. I even left him a VM. I think I should leave a threatening message about filing a complain at bbb.org and maybe he will call me back.

It's false advertisement from ABS-CBN. Forex is a good company. I've never had issues with them. Problema ko lang ung pick up agent dito sa area ko is using Star Cargo kase daw malaki commission. But never again. I've learned my lesson.

Hi Juan....read all the blogs and I'm just wondering if you sent boxes in Illinois (agent Roland de Gusman)bec there seems to be problem with his employment with Star Kargo. He is not connected with them since about two weeks now ( as per Star Kargo). I'm not expecting my boxes until Nov 5 but a friend on mine has sent 5 boxes and not delivered yet. Roland is in PI now and accdng to his answering machine he'll be back Nov 5. We called Star Kargo in CA and they said Roland has been sending all cargos through diff freight not star kargo since July.

my sister sends boxes from arizona thru star cargo. sa pinas they use skyland forwarders. i contact them to track the boxes. 8212152-53. they will ask kung san galing ang box then they will give you a contact person. so far, di pa kmi nagkakaproblem. minsan delayed ng 1-2 WEEKS minsan napapaaga naman

My sister's box was picked up at arizona last October 6, 2012. I called skyland twice wala pa daw. Pero nung follow up ng ate ko sa nag pick up sa kanya sa arizona medyo natatagalan nga daw sa customs kase sa volume of boxes pero may dumating daw ng nov. 21. But today, november 27, nadeliver na yung box namin. They delivered it immediately nung paglabas ng customs. kaya so far for a year now wala naman kaming problem sa star kargo from arizona and sa skyland forwarders nila dito sa pinas

I agree with you Anonymous. My family is still waiting for the package that was picked-up by Ronald de Guzman's team October 2. I received a call from them a day after I called Star Kargo customer service. The guy told me the shipment already arrived in the Philippines and ready for delivery. So I didn't bug them for a week, the next thing I know they identified themselves as StarXpress with that new number to reach them and till now no package arrived by my family. I would really appreciate any information about the true situation of the shipment. I could have bring the package with me this January than sending it for Christmas but ending up to be sleeping in their cargo track :(

Well ano pa bang preweba ang kailangan. Binigyan kami ng Star Kargo invoice pero ng mag follow-up kami walang masabi kung hindi 2 weeks after mapick-up ang package namin eh naterminate daw ang agent sa kanila.

Morton grove il 60053.. ang wife nya is Rowena Vallesteros deGuzman... before you go to Roland's house, make sure na may dala kayo ng copy ng police complaint nyo kasi pag nagdemand kayo na bayaran yong package nyo, bka mabaliktad kayo at makasuhan ng extortion... that's what the police officer told me..

Bakit kaya ganon ang Star Kargo when you asked them the status ng box mo they will tell you "sorry mam but we dont know kung nasan or kailan darating ang box nyo. Dapat from the time dinala ng mga agent sa warehouse yung mga boxes naka input sa system nila mga information ng box and the customer, hindi yung kailan dumating sa Manila tyaka pa lang nila ininput sa system. Pagnareach na sa Manila yung mga boxes hindi na naman nila alam kung kailan idideliver. Kung iisipin mo under ng ABS-CBN ang Star Kargo dapat upgraded ang system and service nila but sad to say npakaPOOR ng service nila. Dapat may communication sila with the warehouse ng scheduling ng mga boxes natin at hindi tayo pinapaikot-ikot sa mga sagot nila and nangangako. Hindi naman natin kukulitin sila kung may nakukuha tayong STRAIGHT ANSWER di ba!! Yun lang naman ang gusto natin marinig sa kanila ang totoong sagot at hindi tayo pinapaikot!!!

Gusto ko pong malaman kung ano pong action ni Roland or Rowena nung nagpunta po kayo sa bahay nila. I would consider getting back the package kung di pa nila napadala kasi uuwi naman po ako sa Pinas this January. Umasa lang po talaga ako na darating ang package before magpasko nung pinadala ko sa kanila pero sa kinasamaang palad mukhang makakauwi na ako wala pa ang bagahe na pinadala ko. Sa totoo lang gusto ko lang po matanggap ng family ko kahit pa super delayed na. Or kung makapagbigay man lang sila ng means na mapapagtanungan. I've been calling them pero no return call.

Date today is January 2, 2013. This thread started January 24, 2009. Wow ang lupit talaga ng Star Kargo. Definitely "The Worst Door To Door Delivery" ever!! My box was picked up last October 28, 2012. I was promised before Xmas delivery, pero 3 Kings na in 4 days, di pa nakakarating yung box ko!! Whenever you call their Customer Service 1-866-STAR-555, they will give conflicting reasons. I called December 20, 2012, ang sabi eh the delivery just resumed and baka 24 or 25 ang dating. Bulacan lang yung box ko ha, ke lapit sa Maynila!. Then tumawag ako ng December 24, ang sabi ba naman eh wala daw delivery service ng 23-24-25. So tuloy pa rin ang paghihintay ng inaasam-asam na "Christmas Gifts" ng mga kamag anak ko. Hopefully di abutin ng Valentines day!!!

Ma'am, I live in Springdale Ohio. Last September 21, 2012, I sent a package to the Phils thru Star Kargo and I was told that they will reach destination within three months. They have an agent in West Chester Ohio, the owner of Pinoy Klasik restaurant (telephone number: 513.779.2454). I was promised that the packages will arrive the Philippines on or before Christmas but last night the owner of Pinoy Klasik called me and said there was a problem. She said that the boxes are being held by the Philippine Customs and that the regional agent of Star Kargo (where they brought my packages) based in Illinois who then shipped my boxes to the Philippines is missing. I was told that for my packages to be released, they have to hire another agent and I need to pay additional $30.00 per box. It angered me because I was not the only person who use this courier, there are other hundreds of Filipinos who send packages to their families in the Philippines using ABS-CBN Star Kargo. The owner of Pinoy Klasik told me that ABS-CBN will not do anything to solve this problem and that if I don't give additional payment, they will auction my packages.

I called the hotline of Star Kargo (telephone number: 866.782.7555) and learned that the regional agent in Illinois, Mr. Roland de Guzman was let go from the company last October 2012 because he was caught shipping packages sent through Star Kargo but used a different shipping company. I talked to Kristoff and Rey and asked them how I can get back my package, they told me that I have to find Mr. de Guzman and ask him the whereabouts of my boxes. I told them that Mr. de Guzman was their employee around the time that I sent my packages and that it is their responsibility to fix this problem and look for their agent. Both ABS-CBN and the owner of Pinoy Klasik told me that there is nothing they can do to help me get back my package and that the only thing I need to do is look for a certain Mr. de Guzman in Chicago, somebody I do not know or pay $60.00 for my two boxes to be released. Both I cannot do.

I hope somebody can help me with this. Apparently I heard that this incident has been going on and nothing has been done. ABS CBN Star Kargo is still fully operational in the United States even if there are hundreds of people are already victimized by lost boxes.

Hello , i was also involved in this messed , i also live in Ohio WestChester , 5 miles from Pinoy Klasik . I spoke with the owner which i find it too disgusting about the result . To make the story short i was dissapointed but willing to make the payment of $30.00 so long as its legit and will be delivered .

But you are right about sending a complain to Attorney General so STAR KARGO will not be allowed to operate any bussiness in the USA anymore . We need to get together with Pinoy Klasik Owner as they have all the name of senders of the Balik Bayan Boxes , so we can co-ordinate with everybody to file action Law suit , concerning STAR KARGO service .

ABS-CBN Star Kargo need to be terminated doing bussiness inside USA . WE WILL FILE A LAW SUIT IF ALL WILL CO-ORDINATE TO MEET AND SEE A LAWYER CONCERNING OUR PROBLEM .

Taga rito po ako sa Chicago at mismong tao ni Roland de Guzman ang nagpick-up ng box from us. Pero he's no where to be found. I've been calling his origianl number pero voicemail lang nagsasabing ibang company na siya at ibang number na ang ibibigay. Kung tawagan mo ang new number magic jack voicemail lang din.

Pinatawagan ko na rin po sa parents ko ang Villamayor Logistics pero they were saying they're still waiting something from Mr. De Guzman.

Tanong ko lang po para saan po yung $30.00 na hinihingi ng agent ninyo? If they were saying there's nothing they can do bakit po sila nagbibigay ng option na magbayad kayo? Based from what I've read, kung di po masettle ng nagship ang fees ibebenta nila sa ibang forwarder ang boxes. And nasa kanila po yun kung ideliver pa nila sa atin at magbabayad tayo ng additional fees or katayin na nila ang mga boxes natin at ibenta.

Nakakalungkot po na kapwa Pilipino mo pa ang gumagawa ng ganito sa iyo. At kahit wala ka na sa Pilipinas nagkalat pa rin ang mga tulad nila.

It is wise to go after ABS-CBN STAR KARGO dahil sila ang may pagkukulang sa mga customer , Kung si de Guzman ang punteria ninyo wala kayong mapapala sa kanya dahil siya ay agent lang . Ang ABS-CBN STAR KARGO ang may kasalanan dito dahil Black Listed sila sa Manila . Isa sila sa black listed tapos hinde ipinapaalam sa mga agent nila.

Mr. de Guzman kung nababasa mo ito , lumabas ka na sa pagtatago mo , para matulungan mo ang mga nabiktima na magsampa nang Action Law Suit laban sa ABS-CBN STAR Kargo . KUng wala kang kasalanan Huwag kang magtago sa kagagawan nang STAR KARGO .

Maawa ka sa pamilya mo at sa mga victims kung wala kang kinalaman , dahil maraming naghahanap at nag-aakyat nang complain sa iyo . Everybody must calm down , kasi pag ganito ang mga inaasal natin wala tayong masolve . Nag paste na ako nang mga site para makita at mabasa ninyo ang mga proof , bahala na kayong mag analized sa mga pangyayari kung sino ang nagkulang sa atin.

It is not one persons fault , agents only wanted to make a little buck to help with thier everyday living here in america , kaya nagkukuha sila nang side job such as agents . Everyone here must make a complain and report ABS-CBN STAR KARGO to your Attorney General in each States where you live in . Then Send a copy to BBB ( Better Bussiness Bureau ) this will all solve our misseries . Kailagan maipasara lahat nang mga bussiness mayroon sila dito sa USA including thier Show bussinesses . If we let this go on , there will be many more of us na maloloko .

I believe this is our only hope , para matigil na lahat ang mga cargo carriers dito sa US , na hinde naman nila ginagawa ang side of thier bargain for customers.

bakit ako magkakaproblema eh hinihikayat ko lang naman ang mga taong nagpadala ng package thru Roland de Guzman na magsampa ng complaint o reklamo kasi hindi natanggap ng recipient ang mga box na pinadala namin. The crime THEFT is NOT only confined to taking one's property which is not legally yours. It can also imply involving the wrongful acquisition of the personal property of another person. Sa sitwasyon na ito, voluntary nating ibinigay ang boxes natin kay Roland de Guzman at nagbayad tayo ng pera para gampanan nya ang isang service. Ang sitwasyon ngayon, hindi nya ginampanan ang service na binayaran natin sa kanya. Hindi lang THEFT ang pwedeng ireklamo kindi FRAUD din. Pano ako magkakaproblema sa mga sinulat ko dito, wala naman akong sinabing threatening or inciting bodily harm kay Roland de Guzman? Ang sinabi ko lang naman dito ay ini-encourage ko ang mga taong nagpadala ng box thru Roland de Guzman na mag file ng complaint sa police dahil hindi nya ginampanan ang responsibility nya na ipadala sa tama at maayos na paraan ang mga boxes natin.

Hindi ko pinagtatanggol ang Orient Star, since 1996 sa kanila na kami nagpapadala at nakarating naman lahat ng mga boxes na pinadala ko. Minsan lang silang na delay. Ang kagandahan sa Orient Star, kahit may delay, merong taong sasagot sa phone nila para bigyan ka ng update kung ano na ang status ng box mo. Napaka importante nun, ang merong sumagot sa phone kapag tatawag ang customer para mag follow up. Eh itong si Roland de Guzman, wala na ngang sumasagot sa phone, nagtatago pa.

Alvin , ang maganda dito sana , sabihin nang brother mo sa DTI (Department Of Trade Industry ) na kunin nila yong mga pangalan nang mga box recievers at ipaalam sa kanila , give notice to each recievers na yong Boxes nila eh nasa custome , tapos sabihin sa kanila kung gusto nilang pick up ang kanilang boxes pweding pick up kung bayaran nila ang custome fee.

Siguro naman mas efficient and effective na gawin ito , its only fair to both sides , siguro custome papayag dahil they will collect fees.

So , Alvin its a big help kung request mo sa brother mo na ito na lang ang magandang solution for all concern , in case pumayag ang custome every concern individuals na involved dito will get Justice. Ok,Mga Kabayan sa lahat na may reklamo sa STAR KARGO , Heto po ang dapat ninyong gawin kung gusto ninyo ma-recover ang mga loses nnyo , Ilalagay ko ang site nang BBB to make a Complain.

Pero , kailagan collect all the necesarry info na ilagay sa complain . You need to gather the links and site nang Star Kargo , the address , main office in the USA , their Phone No , Zip code .

Tapos may mga questions na sasagutin ninyo , at ilagay na rin kung magkano ang pinsala , such as the fee to transport , and the stimated cost of your balik Bayan Box , your hardship and anything that you want to claim to get payment off .

Theres a question kung ano ang gusto ninyong mangyari sa ABS-CBN STAR KARGO Company , you can either say pay your boxes and the cost of the items in the box , or you can choose na e close na yong STAR KARGO. Its up to you what you want to happen , i claim all , pay up or deliver the boxes or Ipasara na lang ang mga Bussiness nila sa entire USA and the rest of north America , para hinde na sila makapangluko pa sa iba.

For those of you here arguing and name calling stop na , kasi we can resolve this in a good manners . If an individual has a leniency , first thing you have to do is do your research kung paano makakuha nang solution .

Heto po ang dapat ninyong gawin , kasi ang dami ko nang nagawang panawagan at natuklasan how we can recover with our loses.

1. First Step make a complain through your State Officials , Your Attorney General , at report ang business nila na Fruad .

2. Send copy to Better Bussiness Bureau .

3. You have the right to claim what you paid ,for shipping and the declared value that said insured at the amount written in our reciept contract. But its probably not enough for the contents in the Box. If you want to recover all expenses we can hire a Lawyer to fight for us, want to get all expenses and all the hardship we encounter , you may do so if your willing to go all the process which i think its all worth it, specially when a Bussiness such as ABS-CBN STAR KARGO is making huge in this country. Again, it will be better kung One Lawyer Firm only, tapos magsamasama tayong Lahat in the complaint , which is called Action Law Suit. Whatever the law required na bayaran nang ABS-CBN STAR KARGO sa atin claim it will be divided between the complainant after the Lawyers fee. Example , if we all decide the amount to be paid by the company thats what the Lawyers will do minus Lawyers FEE. There will be hundreds of Law firm out there waiting to be hired like they do to Walmart and big companies.

4. This steps is important . If you encounter pilferage or lost item, or non-delivery, file an immediate claim or complaint with the freight forwarder’s customer service. You may also lodge your complaint directly to the Philippine Shippers’ Bureau at 2nd Floor, DTI Bldg., 361 Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City or fax at (02) 751.3305 or email at dti_psb@yahoo.com.ph or call DTI-Direct (02) 751.3330 or 0917.834.3330 for assistance.

5. Make sure to do every steps and have leniency stay calm , Call this numbers in the philippines , the more complaint they get in manila the better chance we get , because they will not ignore that many complainants.

Last but not least tama na po ang arguing , we can not solve a thing in this manners , kasi nakakapagbitiw tayo nang mga salita na nakaka demoralized , then its depressing ok po .

Leilani magandang Balita ito , salamat sa update . Ito na yong mga pag judge kay Mr. de Guzman nang mga maiinit ang Ulo , At mayroon pang galit sa mga post ko , bakit daw hinde si Mr. de Guzman ang sisihin eh siya daw ang nagpick up nang mga boxes at nag issue nang recibo , all alone i was being helpful na huwag pinpoint si Mr.de Guzman , pero pinagpupumilit nang isang tao na siya lang ang may kasalanan. Napaka self centered at galit pa , bakit daw pinagtatanggol ko si De Guzman .

Ngayon , i hope there was lesson learn here , if anyone wants to go after one person isarili na lang niya kasi personal yan , hopefully Mr. De Guzman will understand the prosperity we encounter . Pero kung si Mr. de Guzman ay nagbabasa dito sa mga posting dito , tapos kung gusto niyang mag complain for slander and ruinning his reputation eh he has all the rights to do so .

Humanda na lang yong taong yon na nagbintang kay Mr.de Guzman for whatever comes kasi hinde siya nag hunos dili from dispatching a judegment . Like the news said and all the informations gathered by many poster na nakaka confuse ang mga info na binibigay nang ABS-CBN STAR KARGO , stating not one false info but a few , which does not match months kung kailan na demoted si Mr. DE Guzman. Mga wrong informations lahat ang binibigay nang STAR KARGO to each of us , para lang ma cover up nila ang kanilang kasalanan .

I called half a dozen times to ABS-CBN STAR KARGO and i was given different answer each time when i am inquiring . It resulted my conversation with them nasty , and non of the personnel there has one same answer.

Yong galit at naiinis sa akin kung bakit hinde ako sang ayon sa mga sinasabi niya na si Mr. De Guzman and may kasalanan in all the events , I did not believe Mr. De Guzman will Jeopardize his reputation , especially here in the USA. Pero i hope that person doing all her/his effort to blame and ruinning Mr. De Guzman will widened up hers/his thinking before it gets ugly.

Sa ginawa nyang ito, talagang sira na ang reputation nya dahil sa hindi sya ma contact ng mga customer. Kung nag-isip sya ng mabuti at sinasagot nya ang phone calls, instead of ignoring the numerous customers na humihingi ng update, hindi sana magkakaganito. Hindi lang dito sa Chicago, pati na rin sa Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio, sa kanya lahat ipinasa ang mga boxes dahil sya ang Regional Agent na may hawak ng mga area na ito. Lagpas lagpas sa promise date of 45 days ang nangyari sa mga boxes, meron dito more than 5 months nang naghihintay. OK lang sanang maghintay kung meron syang constant update na binibigay sa mga customers eh kaso wala. Natural lang na magduda ang iba or magalit ang karamihan sa mga nangyari. Kawawa naman yong mga binubuhay mo at sinusoportahan , Yang dollar bills ang pinag kakandarapa mo dito sa America, so dont deny na hinde totoo kasi , you would'nt have left Philippines otherwise. And that is the wills of God na makapunta ka dito sa America . Wala ka pang appreciation sa kanya na nagpala sa iyo nang kinatatayoan mo ngayon.

same problem here. sent my bb box in oct 2012 through pinoy klasik, west chester, oh. hanggang ngayon wala pa. to the anonymous poster above, i'm sorry hindi ako santo na katulad mo. if I knew or met that sob roland de guzman, I would kick his f&%kin ass!!! if abs-cbn star kargo or this mother&%kin de guzman are not guilty, they should have balls to speak up and defend themselves, because this issue is pretty much widespread nationwide (in the u.s) or internet. scammers!!!

like the other poster said on this webpage. file a complaint to the state attorney general's office where star kargo operates. pati abs-cbn star kargo ma investigate yan. AG's office handles bad business practice or fraudulent operations, etc. i'm just saying.

We also have the same concern here in Indiana with STAR KARGO, the thing is they are just making us go in circles. Apparently I also have a friend that sent her box around September 2012 and was informed that her family will receive it around November or early December, then come October my mom and I sent 5 balik-bayan boxes to the Philippines and until now no further news about it.

Sometime December some issue rumored that somebody had put bullets on one of the packages, also there was a typhoon that the ship has dock somewhere to prevent it from sinking, then by end of December they already said that it was because or Roland who changed forwarder, now early January they are saying that this Roland De Guzman swindled the money and did not pay the custom dues.

It's just hard and frustrating on our part cause I know each and everyone of us worked so hard to fill up that balik-bayan box to send to our loved ones in the Philippines, most of us even spent months to prepare for it, we simply did not just get the money from the street to pay up for the fee to have it sent to the Philippines especially we are charged here $85 per package.

Hello Alvin, may bago po bang updates ang brother mo regarding sa shipment na ito? Kababalik ko lang po from Pinas. Wala na akong ibang nasabi sa family ko kundi umasang darating ang package na ito kahit na madelay. I really hope everything will be resolved soon.
