We have a local museum with a butterfly house, and I love to go there, camera in hand. It's lovely to see them up close, especially when they have such variety. They also have a bunch of pupae behind glass that you can watch hatch. I have been around a long time, but do not recall ever seeing butterflies eating fruit.
