Strawberry Picking

Last week was the last season for strawberry picking so last Thursday I went alone to the strawberry farm and pick strawberries. The weather is so nice the strawberry picking started at 8:00 am the weather is beautiful the sky is blue just perfect. So off we go to the patch.....

We passed by raspberry patch......

Then we arrived at the strawberry patch. I saw people already picking strawberries. The lady assigned us to our patches and told us where are patch end we will see a yellow flag and so I started picking. Since it was the end of the season the strawberries are small.

They are very small but still sweet. I know it because I ate some strawberries I picked. ^_^

After I picked strawberries I went to our local flower nursery and bought herbs and some flowers.

They are so much better when you pick them yourself..and sweeter right out of the fields. I always enjoyed growing them in Texas. And hydrangeas are my favorite flower!

Hi Kim,

Your photos are lovely! Those hydrangeas are gorgeous; did you buy some of those? I know your strawberries were delicious; unfortunately they're gone around here. I love the way they smell and taste when they're fresh.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and I hope you have a great week!

Hugs,

Denise

I'm envious! I've always wanted to do strawberry-picking but I never got the chance. My colleague promised we'd do it this summer but the weather wasn't always that good to go out. Sigh.
Beautiful photos you took.
