Friday Fences

I was watching this little girl waiting for the horse to come her way.

When the horse came to her she immediately pet the horse. My heart sank how the two connect each other that fast. That's why Jesus said to be like a child. The innocence and a loving heart of a child is fantastic that the horse could sense it. Because if you ask me if I will pet the horse, I will be hesitant because in my mind I have plenty of what IF'S, duh!! ^_^

Oh, my goodness. That second shot is absolutely precious. What a wonderful and touching capture. You know she is thrilled to death to have her big friend come over for a visit. These shots have definitely put a smile on my tired face tonight. genie

Beautiful photos and a touching moment...girls and horses...it doesn't get much better than that.

There is a lovely, talented young singer, Templeton Thompson, that did a song called Girls and Horses. You can find it on YouTube...you might enjoy hearing it.

I know what you mean about the 'what ifs', but most horses are really gentle... I'm still scared of them, tho, but I LOVE to watch & photograph them, sooo very beautiful! =)

Great shots of a true connection!!! =)

I like your observation about we adult's tendency to almost too careful sometimes. These are fine shots of the little girl's bold contact with the horse. Fine work.
