Marigold And A Rose

Next year I vow to plant lots and lots of Marigold  flowers. Few days ago after I come up with the idea that I am going to plant lots of Marigolds I search online about Marigolds. I discover that there is a white Marigold and a blogger whom she planted white Marigold this year offer to give seeds next year. I posted at her blog that I like to have even ten seeds lol!! But if I am not fortunate enough to be given a white Marigold seeds  I might as well order it online and from there I will have plenty of white Marigold next year (2013).  What fascinates me with Marigold is that in one plant (like almost a bush) each one has it's own distinct color and design. I took yesterday some of my Marigolds. These you can find in one plant. Some has one layer of petals some has three or two layers. I find this flower very fun to look and find the difference. ^_^

                                                         MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY
                                                                                and
                                                                    MOSAIC MONDAY

As you know in the Upper Midwest, the four seasons come and go - the flowers have a limited life. Yet, we do see the beauty while it lasts a,d during the cold winter - we dream of Spring and await another crop of new flowers in ruby, yellow and any other beautiful color. Gorgeous flowers you have presented!

I love marigolds. They smell like nothing else, and are supposed to keep pests out of the garden.

Who is the yellow rose in memory of?
