signs

Last Sunday hubby and I went for a barn hunting and we ended at Marlette, MI
We ate a good home town ice cream and found this signs too.


                                     I like to change a little bit of this sign I would put FORGET THE
                              WAIST LINE, EAT MORE ICE CREAM!!

St. Lawrence was the name of the church
in which I once was a member and I taught at its school. His type of martyrdom was a horrid one!

I can’t imagine raising 15, 000.00 in 1879. That was a whopping large amount for that date in history. Historical Society signs are always so interesting. Now for the second one...it is just so cute...I like it but in an entirely different way. Great posts this week. Genie

I think both versions of the ice cream sign are great. I also think it's wonderful that the old railroad depot has been saved.

Nice signs, I love ice cream. I'm a little overweight I guess but I think the biggest lie ever told is "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

I am one of those people who would walk over to read these historical markers. I wonder how many others pay attention to them?

ice cream is always an option!
