Rainbow connection

                I attended a baby shower party last weekend at Indian Lake. Right behind my friend’s house is the lake and her husband is very kind enough to drive his pontoon boat around the lake. When I saw the lake, I could tell that it is the best place for fishing. Many weeds and water lilies around and no speedboats around just pontoon boats are allowed. Here are some of the photos I took that weekend.

                                    Some yard art that I have found at a store and one at my friends house

It is a pretty lake, perfect for canoeing. I love the pretty gazing balls, they would look nice in my garden.

To answer the question you raised on my post: There is a lodge, Mount Pisgah, about 5 miles from where these pictures were taken. The views from the lodge are spectacular as well.

The lake is so beautiful and placid, really conducive for fishing. I love fishing since it is so relaxing but I never had the chance to fish in open seas, sigh. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

You found plenty of delightful, summery reds!

ENAMORED OF RED

Enamored of red
I lie in my bed,
Dreaming of cherry-filled crèmes;

For red is the shade,
The prettiest made,
That gives me the sweetest of dreams.

It is so nice to be at a lake where gasoline motors are not allowed. Quiet, a paddle boat or canoe with an electric motor glides silently across the water. A place to relax, and fish quietly - and being so peaceful, we don't care if we even catch any...
