Nice triplet post this week. I know just how much fun it is to go out barn hunting. There is always something new and different to shoot. These are great. Love the silos. There is something about them that fascinates me. Maybe it is because I have never been near one to see how it all works. Genie

I love to go barn hunting too! I love the last shot with the ivy or whatever vine is growing up the barn.

I lost count of how many barns I saw today. We were way back on country roads on our way to a place called The Wilds. It's reclaimed mining land that's been made into a wildlife preserve and it's closely tied to the Columbus Zoo. It was awesome--I could have patted a rhino's nose! But anyway, we had the 4 grandkids, so I couldn't stop to take any shots. The 4 yr. old is a bit impatient at times. :>)(I do have a shot of that rhino though!)
Anyhow---these barns are great! That first one is so tall esp. without having a stone foundation. Around here, if they're that tall their bottom floor is made of stone.
I really like the silos in the 2nd pic, and the cupolas in the 3rd.
You had a successful barn hunting day!
