Ain't that sweet? What do you think they are talking about?
Why they always scratch or pick something?
Here is the dam that goes to the town.
I noticed there is a blue and green color on their head. This one is blue is this a male?
This has a green color but has a little of blue. It's very pretty!
Another pair of duck. Try to catch fish?

You caught these ducks in all sorts of interesting poses!
IT DOESN’T TAKE AN OCEAN
It doesn’t take an ocean
Or a mighty sea,
A simple little raindrop
Is enough for me!
I also like the jewels
Scattered in the grass
After summer thunderstorms
Soak the earth and pass.
There’s also perspiration
Clinging to a nose—
A sign of honest labor,
Or so I suppose!
Wonderful, most wonderful,
Are the seven seas,
But give me downy snowflakes
Clinging to the trees!

I think all of these are drakes (boys). The green feathers are so irridescent that they can appear blue. At least, that is my understanding. And they always fuss at their feathers to keep them tidy and waterproofed, because that is necessary to their survival. That said - I love your shots, especially the one of the water coming over the dam! Just a shimmering sheet of water!!
wonderful captures. i hope no one is surprised you're more interested in shooting the ducks than the bride and groom.
Lovely shots!
Yes, the males have the beautiful colors. The females are brown. Sad, but true.

males are handsome, at the tail, it curls up. I know, because I helped my parents rear ducks,

I have to say to you that it is hard to open your blog. There is a script running that almost spoiles it. I had to reload several times before I was able to read and comment.
Wow...the color of their heads really pop in your captures!
