Cardinal

After the news about the birds fell down dead, I kind of worried that I won't be able to see birds in my bird feeder. After cleaning and putting fresh bird seeds and suets for them and waited for days for birds to come out and didn't see any I was again worried. But after a week of waiting birds started to came and find the seeds. After few days I spotted a pair of cardinals. I found out that the red one is male and the light one is female how I love watching them eat bird seeds together with flinch and sparrows. Took some pictures and here is the one that I like the most.

Great shot of the cardinal. It must be freezing for those tiny creatures this time of year. Glad so many are feeding them.

it's really good to know that your birds are back:) they are such sturdy creatures even if they're really so small. Happy RT!

Ang bait mo talaga Kim. You care for God's little creatures. God bless you more for that. Mas natutulungan mo sila ngayon na winter season pa diyan sa States dahil mahirap ang pagkain nang mga creatures of the wild. Ang ganda nga nang kuha mo nang picture nang cardinal. Thanks for the blessed post. God bless you all always.

Hi Kim, you are so sweet to make sure they have some food during the winter. Your photo is beautiful. It was fun to see the bird's cheery apricot color on this drab morning.

Have a wonderful day,

Kathy

Cardinals are a favorite at my house, especially with my MIL. Love their bright, happy red feathers against the grays of winter.
Thanks for pop over for a HI!

What a wonderful shot you got of that male cardinal. I always think it quite unfair that the males get to be the prettiest!
