Sunflower

The whole day hubby and I stayed at the farm of my step-son and they had this huge sunflower it's 7 feet tall! I should took a short ladder, climb up and put my hand in the middle of the sunflower so everybody could see and  have an idea how big it is^_^ But by just looking at the leaves I guess everybody could have an idea how big is this plant.

Oooo I just love your giant sunflower ShadowShot. That's the way a sunflower is supposed to be.

I planted some and the goofy things didn't get taller than 6inches!! And their flowers are all shriveled and ugly(see my 7/31 1st photo--the sunflowers are on the far left under the hanging tomato--very sad)
