The other day hubby and I went to our town library to see the program that our library had. And it's about Nature's Discovery. When I read it on the local paper I was hesitant at first because it includes snakes hmmm that scares me already. But I also like to learned and know more about turtles, frogs and lizards here in MI. So off we go and I was not wrong I get teary eyed when the speaker one by one show us the snakes, I had goosebumps all over and I can't sit still. Well the speaker read my body language so he didn't came to me but still the presence of so many snakes makes me cry wohaaa!! But I had a huge smile when he handed to us the turtles and frogs they are so cute. See here!

Here in Australia Kim, snakes are being protected by even if they are the most dangerous species in the continent. (Sometimes I joke, people kill people but they preserve the lives of the animals more than they preserve human lives. Such an irony.)
And those frogs and turtles are gorgeous.
I feel guilty remembering how we soaked frogs in formalin before we dissected them to be studied in our Zoology class. Poor thing!
Thanks for visiting my Over the Mile blog. Hope you join us there too. It's hosted by Gemma of Greyscale Territory
I love the turtle!
I'd cringe to at the snake. :)
Neat shots and an educational visit. I really like the overhead shot of the turtle. It really brings out the lovely patterns on its shell.

I have never seen those species of turtle or frog. Those are fantastic programs at libraries. I always try to take grandchildren if they are here. Great work!

Those frogs look rather handsome.
Such beautiful creatures especially the turtles. My daughter loves snakes and the last time she encountered a snake at the reptile show she asked the keeper to put it on her shoulders. But my little is like me doesn't like snake. Great photos.
Yep, the turtles and froggies are much cuter and friendlier :p
