Streak of yellow

Sorry to those who have fear of snakes (LIKE ME!!!)!! I took this few weeks ago along with frogs and turtles when our library had an educational seminar about our environment. I do understand that this animals are to be protected but I can't stand with snakes. When it was time for the speaker to let us handle the snakes I was teary eyed ^_^. Well he saw my body language so he didn't come to me (thank God!) But I was so surprised  the kids never hesitate to handle them!! Good for them. And among the 30 adults and kids who were there only me and this other woman who were at the side watching them having fun with the snakes! Took this photos from a distance what's the use of zoom lens huh????

We have at least three garder snakes in the yard at the moment. I do not like them much either but I know they are good in the garden so I give them their space. My husband just loves to pick them up. I scram when he does that.

We almost ran over a snake going across the road today...we stopped so I could get a photo but it was too fast for me and was gone in a flash. Those are great shots.

I really don't mind touching a snake in a zoo, but if I see one here in our house, I might freak out. :)

My SOOC Sunday post is up HERE.

I'd be on your side of the room. Ugh. Snakes. Would never touch one. However, when I see a garner snake in the yard, I leave alone; coral and copperheads are quickly dispensed with whatever tool is at hand. Rattlesnakes are shot from a distance. :D

Great shots.

I see some brave girls' hands. I was brave when I was a teen ager. But not any more.

There are no snakes in New Zealand. yesterday, it was reported they found 4 dead snakes among the containers.
