Six petals

Okey this week challenge is SIX. I browse my picture folder  and I found this, my Asiatic Lily which has SIX petals.  I planted this flowers along with yellow and orange color, for I think three years ago. And now they are multiplying and I am enjoying there beauty.

The flower is the poetry of reproduction.  It is an example of the eternal                                      seductiveness of life.  ~Jean Giraudoux

See here at Photo Hunt for more beautiful challenge and more Macro Flower shot too.

This is a beautiful color. I'm tired of rain, but looking at your post, I'm wishing it would rain so I could try a few rain shots today.

Well done! Great detail (I always find it hard to shoot red flowers when the color is so saturated).

Thats so lovely a colour - my lillies are still in tight bud here but I don't think I've anything that could match this!

That's a wonderful shot. I love the way the water droplets show up so well on the petals.
