D is for Dad

I was looking what to post  for letter D. Then I remember the word Daddy, I browse my picture folder and thankfully I found a picture of my Daddy. He passed away 20 years ago, he was 50 years old. I missed him so much I only wish he is still with us.

I know what you mean...it's difficult no matter how long they've been gone! The memories abound and always should not be forgotten...only smiles of the good times should be remembered tho. Right? Love this letter "D"!!!

Thanks so much for your visit today and your birthday wishes for me! Much, much appreciated.

Have a super week ahead!!

We are on the same page today... I posted a picture of my Daddy too. He passed away from cancer at 57 and that was over 40 years ago. I still miss him and his wonderful stories.
I truly enjoyed your tribute to your dad.

My dad passed away almost 30 years ago, unfortunately I don't have many photos of him as he used to shun the camera.

Such a great loss to lose your father so young. My father lived to a good age and yet I miss him too.

You had a handsome dad. My dad died almost ten years ago, so I can relate to your feelings... But I do feel some comfort because we had the beuty of being part of the same path for some time. I'm sure you are too.

Kisses from Nydia.

I'm sorry you lost your Dad so young - I did too. Mine was in his fifties when he died, and that was over thirty years ago. I still think of him often though, and wish he were here to talk to. It's always hard, isn't it?

Looks like a Dad you could have good times with, 50 is way too young. My father lived until old age but I still miss his wisdom and sense of fun.

My dad died almost 10 years ago, at 73. Still stings. I can only imagine how you feel.
