MellowYellowMonday: Tulips

MellowYellowMondayBadge

My MellowYellowMonday picture for this week is about Tulips!! Couple of years ago hubby and I visited Holland, Michigan to there Tulips Festival. I never knew there are more than a hundred varieties of tulips. They came out with different colors and shapes they are just awesome to look out. They are all so pretty, but one thing that I noticed about tulips they don't last long. I called them spring flowers actually because even here at my backyard my tulips will popped out in spring only but that is okey I still enjoyed them while they last. Here are my pictures from the festival.

Wonderful shot! I love the sea of tulips! I had a similar idea with a sea of sunflowers ;-)
...A field of golden sunflowers!

Tulips are my husband's favorite flowers. Unfortunately, they are also favorite food for the local deer, who eat them before we see the blooms!
Beautiful shots, and thanks for the visit!

Thank you for visiting and commenting on my post!
Wow, nice shot! I love tulips! I love yellow tulips! Here in Sweden, tulips are a winter flower that you buy in the shops to have as cut-bouquets.
I have had a lot of yellow flowers and plants (like fall leaves) these past few "Mellows", so I thought I'd make a change and look for yellow objects instead.
I never get tired of yellow flowers though. Great post!

I never made it to the Tulip Festival even though I lived in Ohio for several years. These masses of beautiful yellow tulips are perfect for Mellow Yellow Monday.

Tulips are a favourite of mine, too. I've been to the festival in Ottawa and in the Netherlands, but not Holland MI.

Looks like you went at a fab time! We can't grow tulips here since the weather is always so warm. haha. So we hardly ever see them here. But they're one of the most beautiful flowers. Lovely pictures of 'em! :) Do I see red tulips amidst the yellow ones? :D

The tulips are indeed beautiful. I thought tulips come in only in red colors. I did not know they come in a variety of colors. Now I know because of your post, hehehe, lol. Thanks for the beautiful post. God bless you always.
