My letter V's

My choice of letter V this week are:
                                                                      1. VOLITANT
I choose my hummingbird as my example of Volitant. Yesterday and today I waited for this tiny visitor of mine to come and eat some sweet nectar right in my hummingbird feeder. But soon this tiny visitor of mine will have good food because I had planted 4 hollyhocks flowers just for them and for the butterflies. Am I sweet huh!!

                                                                       2. VOLUTE
Without this part of the tractor, the tractor won't run.

                                                                   3. Volume knob
                         More photos at  ABC Wednesday
And I am linking my reds here to Rednesday

I love your "V" selections! And, hummingbirds are hard to catch by way of a photo, so good job!
I had a feeling that you would comment on the "Visayan", but I never would've guessed that you are from the southern part. Small world...

You are sweet Kim for taking care of God's littlest creatures, lol. These birds are so tiny that they will fit in the palm of our hands. I remember that I used to feed maya birds before when I was younger and they were more plentiful. I used to throw small pieces of bread outside my window and was so thrilled to see them eating them. I would even shoo away the cats that would eat them too. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

Thanks for teaching me a new word - Volitant - I like the way it sounds.

Excellent capture on the hummers. Those are really difficult shots. You have a great Variety! They are very territorial so it's great you have a number of places to dine.

Hi

Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy Reday! I love your hummingbird pictures. These birds are so fast it can be too easy to catch them on camera. Thanks for sharing.

Your hummingbird feeder takes me back to my childhood. We always had one hanging out the kitchen window and the hummingbirds would always come and eat when were eating too. Fun memories!

Great 'v's. Our hummers have deserted us for a while. I think because the sunshine is inland. We have been overcast a lot. But I'm going to change my feeder, just to see if they will return.

I wished I had these mini birds in my garden, they are so cute, but we only have them in the zoo here in Belgium.

Great hummer photos! I've been hearing them buzz over my head while I'm in the garden, but by the time I look up, they're gone!

Clever V words & photos!

Thanks so much for your contribution -this is what I love about ABC Wednesday - we see the world from different perspectives - we would never see a hummingbird on our doorstep!

I try to visit as many contributors as possible each week but sometimes I just dont manage it, but we have a great ABC team and between us we see that everybody gets a comment. We are coming to the end of the current round and plans are in store for the next round, I do hope you will be part of the fun! If you would like to be part of the team just drop me an e-mail :-
