Peaches

This morning one thing that comes from my mind is to check my Hibiscus (Gumamela) flowers. I have been waiting for these flowers to bloom because the flowers is huge and very colorful. I know last year the bugs ate a lot of the flowers and leaves but not this time I was ready to kill all the bugs this time. So I concocted my own "pesticide", water, a little of white vinegar, a drop of dish soap, peppermint essential oil  and water, that's all! That is my pesticide and know what it did work. My Hibiscus flowers are blooming like crazy and no sight of any bugs!! After waging the wars over bugs at my Hibiscus flowers I went to my peach trees and cherry trees. Then lo and behold I saw three ripe peaches and it is huge! The other tree has so many peaches too but it is not ripening yet. Here are some of the photos this morning at the farm.

Dangerous way to get on top.

And this tree that has plenty of peaches is a small tree and is loaded with peaches. So nice of this tree to give me fruits every year! This time I take care of my fruit trees and now they give back.

Water World Wednesday

                                           WELCOME TO WATER WORLD WEDNESDAY

In Southeast Asis bamboo is common. Do you know that bamboo is a grass? A longest grass but the most loved and so much to use it from. Well in the Philippines, we make a house out from the bamboo, we eat the shoots, lol! I tell you we do everything with bamboos!!

It is pretty unique huh? When that drops of water fill the bamboo, the bamboo will then tip to the basin and so then the water will fill the basin. That's where you get your water for drinking, cooking or anything. Love this one when I saw this at Japanese Garden in Grand Rapids.

Water World Wednesday

                                           WELCOME TO WATER WORLD WEDNESDAY
                                                                    Episode 68, Year 2

How is everyone's weekend goes?? We had a hectic weekend I start last Saturday morning in going to Lady of Fatima devotion mass for the first Saturday of the month. We had beautiful mass and then we had adoration and confession. I saw and meet my WOG sisters in Christ and we had fun chatting of what is going on in our life after the retreat. I am so glad to find great Christ centered friends though we don't see often but mind you we text and we emailed each other sharing our daily reflection in life.

Today, I am sharing with you guys and gals a Japanese Tea House. The day hubby and I went it was the grand opening of the Japanese Garden. Of course, we have to be there to see the most awaited garden of all time (my time lol).

There was a long line right at the door of the Tea House. I am very curious to get in but because of the line we opted to walked around the garden and we did.

Then here is the platform or deck or bridge what ever you call it but this place is beautiful to just seat down and watch people passed by. ^_^

Tri Level Church

When I first came to this church last month I am impressed. This church is beautiful to a T!! It was my first time to visit and or attend mass to a church that is tri-level. As you can see the photo below. And oh by the way it is located in the middle of Detroit and is helping people in that area.
