From visiting friends in Bellaire, Michigan....along US Hwy 131 I spotted this tree. I asked hubby to turn around because I saw something he did but he wonders. But when I point it to him the tree he was laughing and laughing while I was very curious. I took some photos and when we drove away we wonder how those shoes come up all the way to the top but I guess there are some people whose minds are very creative and I like that. Awesome sight.... this is located US Hwy 131, Kalkaska, MI.

That is a new one on me. I have seen different trees decorated, but not with shoes.
Would be interesting to find out how it all started. A shoe party perhaps.

We have shoe trees in the country where I live, they must be world wide and although are interesting to see, I wonder if they harm the trees.
