What do you know of Aruba? The first time I know about Aruba is to an international beauty pageant where their candidate won. After that, every time we kids play beauty pageant at home we always say I am Miss Aruba. It was funny that even until now it still very fresh in my memory. After the realization that there is such place as Aruba, I get curious that was when I was young.

 

When I got here in the US several years ago, my husband’s family likes to travel and they always mention Aruba. So I told them about when did I know about Aruba and they were laughing at me because they too know that time when one of there candidate won in a beauty pageant. However, two of my husband’s grandchildren went last year for spring break and they loved the place. They told us that place is beautiful. It has so many places to go and the beach is awesome. They shopped there and the food is great that they told me I would surely love it since I do come from a tropical country Philippines. I told them I could only picture out Aruba as paradise for people who are looking for a great vacation time away from the bustle and hustle of the city life. 

 

Young and not so young adults love the nightlife. Hubby and I like tropical country and Aruba for me is one destination worth trying and spend our hard earn money. What I like to a place when I do my vacation time is to see the place around and look for a good food. I like people who are hospitable and friendly that you feel secure and with all my preference I am certain Aruba is one travel destination each of us should try. Hubby and I have not been there but with the help of his grandkids who have been there and told us there remarkable stories while there we are eager to visit the place this year.
