Lavender Farm

Hello friends how's your 4th of July celebration? Hubby and I went to a Lavender Farm here in Michigan. I didn't know that we have a Lavender farm very close to my place. When I found it out last Tuesday I know by the next day we have to visit it so off we go. Arrived around 11:00 am at the parking lot we smell the fresh air of lavender scent. It made me feel calm and ready to sleep wish I brought my hammock ^_^ The area is a rolling little hills. I see tons of bees and butterflies I didn't know they love lavender that much!

This is the area where visitors have time to relax and chill out. They offer lavender cookies, tea, juice but I choose Lavender Lemon ice cream and it taste divine!!!

I bought 3 potted lavender plants hoping next year I may have lavender of my own.

                                               The greenhouse surrounded with lavenders.

I found an old pump wheel.

The sky is blue and it was hot really great to visit a Lavender farm. By the way the name of the farm is Yule Love It Lavender . I love it there and definitely is going to visit it again for the fact it is only like 15 minutes away from us. ^_^

                                                          Linking to SKY WATCH FRIDAY

There's a few things I've learned in life: always throw salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for good luck, and fall in love whenever you can - William Shakespeare.

A gorgeous place under blue skies! When I was living in Tasmania, I loved the scents of the lavender farms at Bridport and Tasmazia in the north!

Lavender lemon ice cream? I would never have guessed to put that together, but if I ever came across it, I'd be willing to try it. Thanks for the pics. Try to stay cool. These days of extreme heat can be rough.

I am surrounded by lavender on my ranch and love it. We visit a lavender farm not too far from us. Lavender sugar is good, too. Your photos are lovely; a great post!
