Museum Arts

Last Friday hubby and I went to Detroit Arts and Museum. I saw beautiful paintings, luckily
they allowed inside photography minus the flash of course ^_^

Did you see the reflection of the harp?

See all the gold? The blue looks like trophy but is a clock. We had a hard time figuring out how and why it becomes a clock ^_^ Below is a vase. In 17th or 18th century those tulips bulb is more expensive than the vase. Now this vase is expensive it's worth for a museum to keep it ^_^

From the left is a stained glass window telling one story in the bible but forgot what it was ^_^ The plates below makes my jaw drop aren't they so gorgeous? And the clock geez that is fantastic. And since they are all in the museum they are valuable  and rare ^_^

beautiful blues and gold you shared today. the urn is beautiful. the plates must be decorative---just think of the lead content in the paint.:p
