How's your Independence day celebration?

Me and my friends went to Pontiac Lake, Michigan to spend the Independence day. A friend of ours had this big pontoon boat and her husband invited us to join them. A bunch of friends came and we all had fun. We had turkey, pork barbeque, sausage, grilled chicken, potato salad, rice, rice cake, egg roll, and drinks ^_^ After dusk they had fireworks and it was so cool we are on the lake watching it. And the sunset was so amazing people can't stopped taking pictures it's very beautiful. I  hope every one had a good time yesterday and every one went home safe.
I had this yesterday my first time ^_^ to taste this and I do like it. But the alcohol label says 3.2 hmmm that is beyond my alcohol tolerance ^_^. I like the YELLOW label along the blue color on the bottle.

Some of the sunset photos that I took yesterday. The YELLOW  colors is so vivid I can't help but just in awed. It does look very beautiful in this photos but it's more gorgeous in person.

The lake has many islet or island and we stayed at one of the island. As we looked around I saw this swan could they be also a family? Trying to enjoy the Independence day? ^_^

A mom, dad and two kids?

Then as the pontoon boat go around the lake I happened to see this not so YOUTHFUL looking couple but how sweet they are. They are enjoying life it should be how cool is that huh??

Now this is the sign that I don't understand why No Wake? Can anybody clarify this? This I found at the boat launch area.

Ain't this beautiful?

Happy 4th of July!!

So guys and gals thank you for coming and leaving a comment I do appreciate your coming and I will for sure visit you. Tomorrow gonna head to Cherry picking so another day of fun and photo shooting ^_^

Love your photography! The couple is perfection and the no wake - maybe it means smooth sailing, no making waves! Happy Rednesday.

Great swans--and wonderful water!! No wake means you have to go slow enough in your boat so as not to cause a Wave or the Wake of the boat. SO It means GO SLOW...

Looks like you had a wonderful holiday. Beautiful photo series Kim!

No wake zones are meant for boaters to slow down and not cause a wake or waves. This is for safety of those in other boats in the area, to cut down on erosion on the shoreline, and/or to protect the flora that is under the water surface.

RED OR YELLOW?

If you have a penchant for red,
Then scarlet will go to your head;
But if it is gold
You’d rather behold,
Then plant yellow roses instead.
