I had this Asiatic Lily for sometime now and they are thriving...love it!

Went to Bald Mountain Park here in our area. The beach is not so full which I do like. I told hubby this is the place I like to spend sometime on weekend.

My yellow rose

I always told myself everytime I plant anything "someday I am going to reap what I sow" indeed that is true. Since I found out that I could plant and grow roses I get excited immediately. I tried to plant at least one or two roses a year that is why now I am reaping what I sow. This is one of my flowers so far they are so gorgeous when they bloom because it just exudes awesome colors.

Last Saturday the family and friends had fun because we surprised my husband for his birthday. You see his birthday is on April and that month here in MI is still cold we even had hail and snow that month, geez! So we decided it must be late spring or early summer before go away for their vacation. It was a blast and many guest came that made my hubby happy. Here are some of the photos...

  My family had this weird idea to do tug of war by the pond. So off they go and that team won and the loser in order for them not to get wet they drop the rope, lol!

What about you friends how is your weekend. Summer is kicking off officially for the next few days where are you going to spend your summer. Hubby and I is thinking of going to Savannah, Georgia which make me excited but I will be more excited and thrilled if we are already on the road hehe.

Lantern

Yesterday, me and my hubby's children throw a birthday party for him. It was a surprised and in the event I told them at the end of the day we are going to say a prayer as we release the lantern to fly away to heaven we did  and it was so touching.

                    These two lanterns were stuck in the tree we thought it will create a fire. Nope not all!

Finally we are getting warm temperature here in the northern part of the US of A. It is just funny because people get out until the wee hours in the day just to soak themselves under the sun and also to enjoy summer. Yes, enjoying the summer at the park or swimming pool is what I am looking forward at this time and so I am posting a photo I took last year at the swimming pool.

I love backyard birding though I know what birds I can find in my backyard but still everytime I see these little creatures it made me happy.

Since spring I've been waiting for this tiny bird to come to my bird feeder. Of course, before I see this guy I already set three hummingbird feeders outside. Until one day hubby told me he spotted a hummingbird and I get excited right away. So I waited for days until the right time came I snap a shot right away. I noticed right away when I uploaded that my feeder is a bit dirty so I change the water right away so my tiny friends are okay.
