Featherheads

Last week I learned about a cool new hair accessory (well not exactly new, but new to me) - feather extensions.  I saw someone wearing them at church and could not stop thinking about them! I could not find any in the mall, so I went online and found them at Fine Featherheads. These feathers come from roosters, and are colored with a mineral-based dye. A feather extension installation will last up to four months, according to their site, and can be reinstalled right after. I did not want to deal with an installation, so I went with clip on hair feathers, or quill clips as they are called on the site, and I love em! Fine Featherheads has some other cool hair accessories on their site, like hair chalk, and I highly recommend you check out their lookbook before buying - they have great photos of all their products to give you a better idea of what they look like in your hair.
This weekend I am going to attend a birthday party and I am planning to wear feather extensions now that my hair is really long. My friends always told me that I am a fashionista in terms of clothing and shoes but not with my hair. I never even dye my hair  - I like to keep it brown/black, so I prefer the lighter colors.

Deal Dash

Are you familiar with Deal Dash? One time I was in the kitchen when hubby called me like it  seems an urgent call. So I ran towards where he was and ask what is going on? He then pointed the tv and saw these ad and it is about Deal Dash. He ask me about the ad and told me to look about it. So I did and found this video on You Tube click Deal Dash.

Are you frugal

Growing up in the Philippines I experience many things in life. I do not remember I have so much material things. I do not remember my parents shower us with material things either but we never go hungry food is always there on the table. Because I am the eldest, my mother thought me to be frugal to discipline myself and to prioritize. Very early in life I already know how to budget my money never my parents teach us to go for credit never.
When I get married and transfer here in the US I am very surprise how people buy things in credit. I do not like it because I know it would never do well to anyone. The more you do credit buying the more you go into a deeper debt.  When I see books or any post about money saving tips or any post about finance tips for students, I read it and if the post written in a magazine, I cut it and keep it. Last month I went home and I teach my nieces and nephew to be frugal. I gave them money and observe them how they spend the money.  Some did buy anything they want but one niece of mine did a very good job she never spend money at all!
When I shop before I go to the mall and buy the stuff that, I like. However, when I discover that there is a way that I could spend less money and gets almost the same stuff I got from the mall I stop shopping in the mall where the price is so much high than the places I go. At www.frugalfrank.co.uk, you can find many tips on how to be frugal and how to save money. Friends we do need to be frugal in many ways though life is short and we have to enjoy it but it is also our responsibility to be frugal and prioritize right.

Strawberry Picking

I can tell summer is here when strawberry picking starts. Yesterday I went to Middleton Strawberry Farm to picked strawberries. I was with my step daughter and grandkids. The weather is a bit chilly but the sun is out and that feels really good to be in the field. I did not pick a lot since the farm is just five minutes away from our house so I can go there every day and pick strawberries if I want to.

Fresh pick strawberries so sweet and juicy!!

                                                                        Episode 61, Year 1

Everytime I look at my photos I cannot get over the photos that I took in Singapore. Singapore's garden is awesome one place that I like to take a lot of shots is this pond. As I was taking photos I noticed a girl swinging on the side. The place looks magical and I remember my grandparents said lily pads and water lilies are the favorite of fairies. Do you think there are fairies here?

Love My Miracle-Gro

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last year I started to plant some herbs in my flower garden. At first, I planted spearmint, it grows wild, and crazy almost cover the whole flower garden. Then I planted verbena, rosemary, lemon grass, apple mint and chives and they are growing fast too. Of course, before I planted them I use Miracle-Gro and Shake’n Feed All Purpose Plant Food. I do this every time I plant flowers, trees or shrubs. One time I planted three-arborvitae tree in front of our house together with one evergreen tree that my stepson planted in the other side of our house. The difference is that my three evergreen trees are as tall as our house now and the evergreen tree that my stepson planted is barely two feet tall. I always told my hubby about it and to my relatives and friends what difference it takes.

Before spring came, I was in the Philippines while I was there I was already thinking of what to do with my garden. I decided that this year I am going to have herbs in the container. I look at Miracle-Gro site and found out The Gro Project it was very cool. I got two huge glass containers good for any Gro Project. When I got home from my vacation, I bought Moisture Control Potting Mix, Shake’n Feed All Purpose Plant Food and LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit. Hubby was overwhelmed of my purchase but I told him I have to take care of my fruit trees too that is why I have to get the feeding system so it is easy for me to feed the fruit trees. Anyway, after collecting many containers I bought more herbs. Now they are growing fast and still I cannot get enough because I see my herbs are doing well and I have flowers and vegetables to take care too.

We have been raining the whole day today so I cannot work in my flower and vegetable garden today. However, yesterday I went to the local nursery garden and I noticed they have their own potting soil too. It is a bit cheaper but when I check on the soil I know it will not never pass the quality of Miracle-Gro so I did not purchase any. I have been using Scotts Miracle-Gro for years now and I swear of the good quality they give to their customers. Friends if you are still planning for your garden or like to start a new project look at their fun garden projects and do not forget to follow the Miracle-Gro Pinterest page for fun garden projects. It is the best page that anyone can get an idea on what and how to start a garden. Do not be afraid to ask question nobody is a seasoned gardener we have our trial and error in this matter but one thing for sure Miracle-Gro is one of the best!

                                            WELCOME TO WATER WORLD WEDNESDAY
                                                               Episode 60, Year 1

My wish this year is to visit beautiful and quaint town in Michigan. I live here in Michigan for almost nine years now and there are too many towns hubby and I have to pay a visit. The gas here per gallon is $4.15 average and so we agreed to be a local tourist ^_^ This shots were taken in Caseville, Michigan. If you happen to see the map of Michigan it looks like a hand, Caseville is somewhere on the top of your thumb.

Bachelorette Sash

I attended so many bachelorette parties in the Philippines or here in the US but I have never seen the bride to wear something on them. Like what for example? Well like a super glam bride rhinestone sash for the bride to wear on her party. When I saw it online, I was glad there is such thing as like this it would definitely add up the fun. This month I am going to attend two-bachelorette party and so I told the host of the party I am going to bring something for the bride. I tell the host about what I am going to bring so there will be no surprises for the host and she was happy. She said it is also her first time to see beautiful sash for the bride to be and she agreed to my idea. Now that I know, there are so many things that I could add to a party I am bookmarked bachelorette party supplies in my computer so when time comes I have to host a party it would be easy for me to find the party supplies. For now I am excited to bring the sash to the party this weekend I know many would like it too because the rhinestone is sparkly and we all girls loves anything that sparks right?

It comes with a black pouch

Bride to be words decorated with rhinestone
